NEW MEXICO IN EMERGENCY NATURAL GAS SHORTAGE
I just called Sen. Marco Rubio and am waiting for a callback from his office on this. There is NO REASON why there should ever be a fuel or power shortage in this country. Obama is turning us into a third world country by his refusal to build power plants, harvest the energy resources that we have. Are we to be, in this year 2011, left to the "mercy" of the elements and the whims of our president?
We have the technology to drill for oil, recover clean energy from even low grade coal, recover the natural gasses that are burned off in oil wells (that's your natural gas). Why did Mexico give us electricity from their new near-the-border power plant which is distributed to our Gulf States, and cut it off today? Why is our president refusing to allow drilling or the building of refineries and power plants?
Reason tells me that we need to be energy independent NOW. Foreign countries are out on their oil rigs in the Florida Straits and in the Gulf of Mexico, drilling. Among them is China.
Where are our exports of oil going? Why aren't we keeping our own resources in these times of rising energy costs? Everything runs on oil! Our food is going up because of it. The country runs not on stockpiles of food, clothing, medicines, everything you need to live a decent life, not on warehouses but on the trucks, planes, shipping and rail lines that bring these things to you and I. We do not have an alternative! Use what we have (and if you read this blog, you will remember that there are centuries of just oil to be recovered in mid-America).

You will come away furious that the American people are without adequate fuel all over this country in this very brutal weather (which Al Gore says is caused by global warming).
Oil refineries and electrical plants are our infrastructure. Our government is responsible for building them. Our people come first, not the EPA and not cap and trade and certainly not Al Gore. I am all for a clean environment, but there are technologies available now that should be utilized which are non-polluting.
The middle east is too radical, too unstable, too powerful when it comes to America's energy and ingenuity.
Obama must yield to us. This winter is the perfect example. He is an absolute disgrace.

Alex Jones just said that Governor Perry of TX, a globalist, will not permit any new electrical power plants to be built in Texas. BUT, there is a $3 billion dollar power plant across the border in Mexico, supplying power to Texas. WHY?

The "Internet kill switch" bill was promoted by Senators Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins in the last Congress. The bill would have granted President Obama the power to shut down much of the Internet in the event of a "cybersecurity emergency."
The good news is that Congress adjourned before passing it.
The bad news is that, on the very same day Egypt's dictator Hosni Mubarak imposed an Internet blackout on his country, Collins announced her intention to re-introduce the bill.
But as the letter below indicates, giving the President this power is extremely dangerous and won't protect us from cybersecurity attacks.

OBAMA, NOT EGYPT IS BIGGEST THREAT TO US - ENERGY/PRICES
We have so much of our own natural resources - enough to last for centuries. You would think we would be opening our own reserves, full of easily recoverable natural gas and by-products of that, oil, oil shale, sands and coal. We have the technology to make "dirty" fuel clean. But would Obama and his ilk support building refineries so we can be self sufficient?
I don't hear anything of the sort.
If we did, indeed, intend to go "green", we could use our resources NOW until we find alternate energy sources that really work reliably and efficiently, explore the hydrogen cell and apply it to
vehicles. Come one, Americans, get real! We have the "right stuff" in the ground! We have the "right stuff" in your intellect. Use them both!
They are drilling for oil like mad in Pennsylvania. Why aren't they building another refinery?
Has anyone asked WHERE IS OUR OIL GOING IF NOT TO US?

Good Morning. Good way to start a Wednesday morning.
We ALL "should" know this is coming, it is just when and where. As a senior military intelligence officer (counter-intelligence), I can tell you that I believe we have this year (2011) to prepare ourselves for what will be unprecedented in the U.S., if not human history. My anticipation is that the ragheads will bust dirty nukes near our nuclear plants in the East, as
many as they can muster up. The cascading power grid failures will make the vast majority of the U.S. east of the Mississippi essentially a dark
continent. My educated guess is that TOD (Target Operational Date) will be ng a major event date when a very high number of Americans are on the
road traveling. Memorial Day would stand out for me.
You have seen what happens when there is even the most minor interruption in services (fire, police, power, food) in past events. Almost all of our
"daily" supplies are no longer moved from warehouse to wholesale/retail outlets. Our national warehouses are 18 wheelers. These past events are
not even a worthy precursor to a general power failure and the spontaneous results of people living like clustered rats, paw to mouth, in the large
cities. Anarchy and the collapse of the federal government (the only positive result), is a given. The state government (ours in Alabama) will
be overwhelmed with the hordes of "entitlement people" gone wild, particularly in the greater Birmingham and Montgomery area.
Masses of people will travel at first by vehicle, then as fuel runs out and vehicles congregate and choke major arterial highways, the migration
continues on foot. Won't take long for fellow American citizen's (of all kinds) to show up at your door, 1/2 starved with no hope and no place to go.
What will you do? Expect the strongest of the migrants to survive off the weaker. They will find places to camp and operate from as they forage for
the survival of their selected band.
If you live remotely STAY THERE. The general, less populated regions of Alabama are some of the safest places to be in the "short term". Long term
is anyone's guess. You may choose to prepare all phases of off government support for your families for as long as you are financially capable. You
may choose to have a "plan" in place for the immediate family to vacate their location and "flow" to your chosen "safe place", or you can throw
yourself on God's mercy and pray for the best. God helps those who help themselves.
