Are you tired of being told that "gun control" is a chronic pain that you have to accept because there's no cure? Do you -- a law abiding person -- want to be free: to own whichever firearms you want to own, regardless of where in America you live; from waiting periods, gun bans, magazine capacity restrictions, etc.; to spend your time on the range or in the field, rather than fighting "gun control"?
Are you tired of giving hard earned bucks to efforts that have at best only slowed the gun grabbers' push toward firearms registration and confiscation? If you have had enough of death by a thousand cuts, you are ready to take action to wipe out "gun control" -- now.
Members of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) consider "gun control" to be an aggressive cancer. JPFO has a cure, a way to destroy "gun control". The likely culprit is a former senator, now deceased. We have documentary proof -- see below -- that he had the original text of the Nazi Weapons Law in his possession 4 months before the bill that became GCA ’68 was signed into law.
This former senator was a senior member of the U.S. team that helped to prosecute Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945-46. That is probably where he found out about the Nazi Weapons Law. He may have gotten a copy of it then, or at a later date. We cannot imagine why any U.S. lawmaker would own original texts of Nazi laws. To find out his name, read on.
With this hard evidence in your hands and in your head, you can destroy cancerous "gun control". You can challenge anyone who backs "gun control". You can show them the Nazi ideas, line by line.
The parallels between the Nazi law and GCA ’68 will leap at you from the page. For example, law abiding firearm owners in Illinois, Massachusetts and New Jersey must carry identification cards based on formats from the Nazi Weapons Law. Nazi based laws have no place in America. Thousands of Americans died or were wounded in the war to wipe out the Nazis. They did not suffer or die so that Hitler's ideas could live on in America and kill more Americans. Remember Killeen, Texas! The 23 who died in Luby's Cafeteria there died because they obeyed Nazi inspired "gun control" laws. The law forced them, unarmed, to face an armed madman.
To destroy "gun control" before more law abiding Americans are murdered by criminals or madmen helped by "gun control", you need to get hold of the evidence as presented in "Gun Control": Gateway to Tyranny. You can then challenge the media, the most aggressive backers of "gun control". Ask media personalities in your city or town why they back Nazi based laws. You can help to erase "gun control", Hitler's last legacy.
GCA ’68 puts your life at risk right now. You have a constitutional civil right to be armed in order to protect yourself, because under U.S law the police have no duty to protect the average person:

"There is no constitutional right to be protected by the state (or Federal) against being murdered by criminals or madmen. It is monstrous if the state fails to protect its residents against such predators but it does not violate the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, or, we suppose, any other provision of the Constitution. The Constitution is a charter of negative liberties: it tells the state (gov't) to let people alone; it does not require the federal government or the state to provide services, even so elementary a service as maintaining law and order"

(Bowers v. DeVito, U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, 686F.2d 616 [1982]).

The Supreme Court last dealt with this issue in 1856; the 1982 decision states the position in modern language. The laws of virtually every state parallel federal law (see JPFO Special Report Dial 911 and Die! covered in Guns & Ammo, July 1992). This has been so ever since the Constitution was adopted in 1791. As a result, the framers of the Second Amendment deliberately created (guaranteed) an individual civil right to be armed. It is your only reliable defense against criminals. GCA ’68 ties your hands and keeps you from carrying out your legal duty to ensure your own self defense. GCA ’68 thus undermines a pillar of U.S. law and helps criminals to kill law abiding Americans. Hitler would be pleased.
Thus, GCA ’68 marked a new approach to "gun control". It replaced the Federal Firearms Act (June 30, 1938), which was based on the federal power to regulate interstate commerce. The 1938 law required firearms dealers to get a federal license (which then cost $1). Only dealers could ship firearms across state lines. Ordinary people could receive shipments from dealers.
In GCA ’68 the government required that in almost all cases only dealers could send and receive firearms across state lines. This ended "mail order" sales of firearms by law abiding persons who are not licensed dealers. GCA ’68 hits you even harder. Congress gave federal bureaucrats in Washington D.C., the power to decide what kinds of firearms you can own. The framers of GCA ’68 borrowed an idea -- that certain firearms are "hunting weapons" -- from the Nazi Weapons Law (Section 21 and Section 32 of the Regulations, page 61 and page 73, respectively, of "Gun Control": Gateway to Tyranny). The equivalent U.S. term, "sporting purpose," was used to classify firearms. But it was not defined anywhere in GCA ’68. Thus, bureaucrats were empowered to ban whole classes of firearms. They have, in fact, done so.
We wanted to know the source of these new ideas. On reading "Dial 911 and Die!" a JPFO member told us he had seen an article -- by Alan Stang in 'Review of the News,' October 4, 1967 (pages 15-20) -- the author of which felt that the Nazi Weapons Law was the model for GCA ’68. We found the article. But Stang did not reproduce the Nazi law, so we could not check his conclusions.
We started to hunt for the text of the Nazi Weapons Law. We eventually found it, in the law library of an Ivy League university.
Until 1943-44, the German government published its laws and regulations in the 'Reichsgesetzblatt,' roughly the equivalent of the U.S. Federal Register. Carefully shelved by law librarians, the 1938 issues of this German government publication had gathered a lot of dust. In the 'Reichsgesetzblatt' issue for the week of March 21, 1938, was the official text of the Weapons Law (March 18, 1938). It gave Hitler's Nazi party a stranglehold on the Germans, many of whom did not support the Nazis. We found that the Nazis did not invent "gun control" in Germany. The Nazis inherited gun control and then perfected it: they invented handgun control.
The Nazi Weapons Law of 1938 replaced a Law on Firearms and Ammunition of April 13, 1928. The 1928 law was enacted by a center-right, freely elected German government that wanted to curb "gang activity," violent street fights between Nazi party and Communist party thugs. All firearm owners and their firearms had to be registered. Sound familiar? "Gun control" did not save democracy in Germany. It helped to make sure that the toughest criminals, the Nazis, prevailed.
The Nazis inherited lists of firearm owners and their firearms when they 'lawfully' took over in March 1933. The Nazis used these inherited registration lists to seize privately held firearms from persons who were not "reliable." Knowing exactly who owned which firearms, the Nazis had only to revoke the annual ownership permits or decline to renew them.
In 1938, five years after taking power, the Nazis enhanced the 1928 law. The Nazi Weapons Law introduced handgun control. Firearms ownership was restricted to Nazi party members and other "reliable" people.
The 1938 Nazi law barred Jews from businesses involving firearms. On November 10. 1938 -- one day after the Nazi party terror squads (the SS) savaged thousands of Jews, synagogues and Jewish businesses throughout Germany -- new regulations under the Weapons Law specifically barred Jews from owning any weapons, even clubs or knives.
Given the parallels between the Nazi Weapons Law and the GCA ’68, we concluded that the framers of the GCA ’68 -- lacking any basis in American law to sharply cut back the civil rights of law abiding Americans -- drew on the Nazi Weapons Law of 1938.
Finding the Nazi Weapons Law whetted our appetite. We wanted to know who implanted this Nazi cancer in America. We began by probing the backgrounds of lawmakers who championed "gun control". We focused on those whose bills became part of GCA ’68. GCA ’68 as enacted closely tracks proposals dating to August 1963. We felt that if the culprit were a lawmaker -- or a congressional staffer -- he or she would know Germany, German law and possibly even speak German. He or she probably would have spent time in Germany on business or during military service. Alternatively, if the culprit were not a member of Congress or a staffer, there would be testimony at the hearings to that effect.
Most potential suspects were quickly eliminated; they had no apparent ties to Germany. But one lawmaker caught our attention.
An old "Who's Who" entry showed he had been a senior member of the U.S. team that prosecuted German war criminals at Nuremberg in 1945-46. Thus, he had lived in Germany just after the Nazi period. His official duties required him to look at Nazi records, including Nazi laws. In 1963 he led the effort to greatly expand the Federal Firearms Act of 1938.
We then got a break. We told a legal scholar of our findings. He was intrigued. He sent us an extract from the record of hearings held a few months prior to the enactment of GCA ’68. At the end of June 1968, the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee to investigate Juvenile Delinquency -- chaired by Thomas J. Dodd (D-CT) -- held hearings on bills: (1) "To Require the Registration of Firearms" (S.3604). (2) "To Disarm Lawless Persons" (S.3634) and (3) "To Provide for the Establishment of a National Firearms Registry" (S.3637), among others.
U.S. Representative John Dingell (D-MI) testified at these Senate hearings on "gun control". Senator Joseph D. Tydings (D-MD) chaired some of these hearings, in Dodd's absence.
Rep. Dingell expressed concern that if firearms registration were required, it might lead to confiscation of firearms, as had happened in Nazi Germany. Tydings angrily accused Rep. Dingell of using "scare tactics":
"Are you inferring that our system here, gun registration or licensing, would in any way be comparable to the Nazi regime in Germany, where they had a secret police, and a complete takeover?"
Rep. Dingell backed away.

Tydings later inserted into the hearing record various documents, "concerning the history of Nazism and gun confiscation."
Exhibit No. 62 (see reproduction) is fascinating. This letter -- dated July 12, 1968 -- is to Subcommittee Chairman Dodd from Lewis C. Coffin, Law Librarian at the Library of Congress. Coffin wrote:

" ... we are enclosing herewith a translation of the Law on Weapons of March 18, 1938, prepared by Dr. William Solyom-Fekete of [the European Law Division -- ed.] as well as the Xerox of the original German text which you supplied" (Subcommittee Hearings, p. 489, emphasis added).

This letter makes it public knowledge that at the end of June 1968 -- 4 months before GCA ’68 was enacted -- Senator Thomas J. Dodd, now deceased, personally owned a copy of the original German text of the Nazi Weapons Law.
Why did Dodd own the original German text of any Nazi law? Why did he make known that he owned it?
The Library of Congress then had (and still has) the ’Reichsgesetzblatt’ in its collection. The Library of Congress translator, Dr. Solyom-Fekete, could easily have used the Library of Congress’ own copy.
Any member of Congress who wanted to read the Nazi Weapons Law need only have asked for it to be produced from the shelves of the Library of Congress and for it to be translated by Library of Congress experts. Why should any member of Congress ever have owned the original German text of the Nazi Weapons Law?
Without access to Tom Dodd's personal papers, archived under his heirs’ control, we unfortunately cannot offer definite answers.
Dodd could have acquired the German text of the Nazi Weapons Law during his time at Nuremberg. But he had no need to do so.
Dodd did not personally handle the prosecution of Nazi Interior Minister Wilhelm Frick, who signed the Nazi Weapons Law. The case against Frick was presented by Robert M.W. Kempner, Assistant Trial Counsel for the United States (see ’Trial of the Major War Criminals before the International Military Tribunal,’ cited as TMWC, Vol. V, pp. 352-67, Nuremberg, Germany, 1947).
Nor should the Nazi Weapons Law otherwise have come to Dodd's attention. The Nazi Weapons Law was not used as evidence against Frick (see Kempner's speech, TMWC, V, pp. 352-67 and 'Index of Laws, Decrees, Orders, Directives, and the Administration of Justice in Nazi Germany and Nazi Dominated Countries', TMWC, Vol. XXIII, pp. 430-33). The Nazi Weapons Law is not listed among documents submitted as evidence to the Tribunal by the American prosecutors (see Vol. XXIV, pp. 98-169).
The prosecutors at Nuremberg doubtless knew of the Nazi Weapons Law. They probably saw it in the ’Reichsgesetzblatt.’ On the same day that Nazi Interior Minister Frick signed the Weapons Law, March 18, 1938, he signed another law governing security measures in newly annexed Austria. This law concerning Austria appeared in the 'Reichsgesetzblatt' -- directly in front of the Weapons Law -- and was introduced into evidence at Nuremberg (’Reichsgesetzblatt’ 1938, I, p. 262; the Nazi Weapons Law was published in the same volume, p. 265; see TMWC, Vol. V, p.358 for reference to law concerning Austria).
Thus, the Nazi Weapons Law appeared to have no historical merit at Nuremberg and should not have attracted anyone’s notice, certainly not to the extent of causing anyone to want to keep a copy of it as a separate document.
If Dodd got his copy of the original German text of the Nazi Weapons Law during his time at Nuremberg, it likely was part of a collection of documents, for example, issues of the ’Reichsgesetzblatt’.
But if he acquired the original German text of the Nazi Weapons Law after his service at Nuremberg, he must have done so for a very specific reason. The Nazi Weapons Law plainly did not figure at Nuremberg.
We may safely conclude it had little, if any, interest for those interested in the history of the Nazis’ rise to power. For example, the Nazi Weapons Law is not mentioned at all in William L. Shirer’s very thorough study of Nazi Germany, ’The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich’ (Simon and Schuster, New York, 1950).
At the hearings held by Dodd’s subcommittee at the end of June 1968, Rep. Dingell had objected to the firearms registration provision then being discussed. Dodd may have offered his copy of the Nazi Weapons Law to show that the specific proposal did not resemble anything in the Nazi law.
He may not have realized that he was revealing a broader truth; that the whole fabric of GCA ’68 was based on the Nazi Weapons Law, even if the specific registration proposal was not so based.
Alternatively, Dodd may not have cared whether or not anyone knew that he had the German text of the Nazi Weapons Law. He doubtless knew that months would pass before the hearing record was printed and so generally available for scrutiny. Thus, even if anyone then noticed the parallels between the two laws, the bill would already have become law.
Rep. Dingell does not appear to have pursued the matter: the firearms registration provision was not included in GCA ’68. The Congress was stampeded on "gun control" by public enthusiasm. Martin Luther King had been murdered on April 4, 1968, and Robert F. Kennedy had been murdered on June 6, 1968.
We are not the first to have seen this hearing record. But we appear to be the first to have recognized its importance. This hearing record suggests strongly that the late Senator Thomas J. Dodd (D-CT) himself implanted the Nazi Weapons Law into American law, or, at very least, helped others to do so.
Now you know the ugly truth about the roots of GCA ’68. But you need to see -- with your own eyes -- the hard evidence of the Nazi roots of "gun control" in America presented in "Gun Control": Gateway to Tyranny.

How You've Been Conned into Surrendering Your Gun Rights
And How You Can Turn the Tables

"BOHICA!"screamed the e-mail alert. "Bend over, here it comes again!" It was a familiar story. Politicians were about to pull yet another colossal act of betrayal, about to break yet another compromise with gun owners, about to put thousands more citizens at risk of prison for obscure technical violations of law.
BOHICA has become a way of life for people who care about the Bill of Rights, especially the Second Amendment.
So what did the group sending the urgent e-mail alert beg everybody to do? "Call your representative!" -- again -- "Write the governor!" -- again -- "Tell your friends to call their representatives!" --again.
Let’s be realistic: Do we honestly believe an arrogant group of known liars and oathbreakers is suddenly going to morph into Patrick Henry just because they receive yet another batch of desperate, angry pleas from people who’ve been on the losing side of every gun-law battle since the National Firearms Act was passed in 1934?
"BOHICA," indeed! If you keep bending over like that, they’ll keep doing "it" again.
So why do so many of us keep on bending over -- making the same predictable responses to political chicanery -- long after we’ve seen that our desperate, hopeful actions don’t win us freedom? We do it because we’ve been conned. It’s that simple. We’ve been buffaloed into believing that "politics as usual" is our only option. We’ve even been told that being political puppets is our "responsibility" as citizens.
It’s not. There are more effective things we can do. But first, look at the devastation caused by this political con we’ve been suckered into.

Throwing away your money, your efforts, freedom, and your future
How many billions of dollars have freedom groups spent financing political campaigns, lobbying, or struggling to change laws through legislative letter-writing blitzes*? How many checks have firearms manufacturers written to how many lawyers and lobbyists? How many hundreds or thousands of your own hard-earned dollars have you poured into politics? How many thousands of hours have you simply thrown away writing begging letters to politicians, standing at rallies, voting, campaigning, sending faxes, and making calls to "representatives" whose bored office staffers don’t even bother to pass along your messages and whose bosses wouldn’t listen if they did?
How many times have you helped send some guy to Washington or Albany or Sacramento thinking, "There, now he’ll take care of us" -- only to have him come back a month later telling you, "You just don’t understand how things are done on Capitol Hill" – as if he were representing the government, not you?
We rally ’round Party R, alarmed by the terrible things Party D wants to do to our Second Amendment rights. Party R marches into office, banners of "reform" flying high. In the name of "compromise," Party R then does exactly what Party D threatened to do – and comes back looking for more contributions and votes! "Think how much worse it would have hurt if Party D had done it to you!" they say. BOHICA!
And how many times have you felt sick as the public applauded the latest law or regulation against freedom -- because peoples’ hearts belong to the other side, and their minds are uneducated about the real issues behind the feel-good language of "safety," "preventing crime," and "reasonable measures" to "protect children"?
Yes, you may have had an occasional, temporary victory, particularly at the local or state level. (Even a card sharp knows he sometimes needs to let the marks win to keep them hoping.) But in the end, every one of your political dollars, every one of your countless political hours, has not only been wasted, but has actually helped your opponents beat you in a rigged game.
The illusion that you’re doing something to protect freedom has kept you occupied like a sucker trying to spot the shell with the pea under it while fast- talking politicians and remote bureaucrats carried out long-term anti-freedom plans that your eye couldn’t follow.

Fighting to lose your gun rights
Second Amendment fighters: What have you gained by relying on politicians?

• You’ve lost the right to own some firearms unless you pay a tax and submit to a government license.
• You’ve lost the right to purchase a gun through a catalog and have it sent to you.
• You’ve lost the right to own some firearms, simply because politicians and regulators thought they looked ugly or scary.
• You’ve lost the right to carry a gun with big enough magazine capacity to be useful in a serious firefight.
• You’ve lost the right to defend yourself in schools, churches, city hall, airports, parks, and hundreds of other places.
• You’ve lost the right even to drive or walk in the neighborhood of a school.
• You’ve lost the right to own guns if you were convicted of even certain minor crimes decades ago (and along with that, you’ve lost the ex post facto protections of the Constitution).
• You’ve lost the right to carry concealed and exchanged it for a revocable, government-granted privilege, complete with fingerprints and criminal background checks.
• You’ve lost the right to buy a gun quickly to protect yourself against someone who’s threatening you.
• You’ve lost privacy in all but a handful of gun purchases (and are soon to lose that, thanks to dogged and dishonest efforts to "close the gun- show loophole").
• And you’ve ended up living in a culture that demonizes you as a violent, cretinous, "gun nut."

Despite short-term compromise "victories," the bottom line is that you’ve put up with a steady erosion of rights that hasn’t stopped since you father’s, grandfather’s, or maybe even great- grandfather’s day.
And now we rejoice because, with the Clinton regime gone, we believe politicians are going to be a LITTLE LESS QUICK about taking the next round of our rights. We get excited when we learn that Attorney General John Ashcroft says the Second Amendment protects an individual right to own firearms -- so excited that we overlook the fine print, where he says next that Congress has the right to enact "gun control" laws "for compelling state interests."
What exactly does "compelling state interests" mean? Who defines it? Who’ll enforce it -- and how brutally?
What kind of mentality have we developed, that we get excited over something like that? Have we adopted the numbed mindset of the carnival mark who walks away feeling victorious because he won some cheap piece of junk not worth one-tenth the money he invested in the crooked game?
Have we come to expect to lose our freedoms? Have we come to believe there’s no realistic alternative? Good news: There is an alternative -- and a powerful one. But first, we’ve got to get over this BOHICA thinking and the BOHICA, "politics as usual" actions it leads to.

The key to understanding what’s going on
Long ago, and for a very short time in America, what your teachers told you was true. You could change things by voting and campaigning and writing letters to your representatives -- because they actually were your representatives.
An informed citizenry and a legislature made up of ordinary fellow citizens could protect rights -- for a while. But that system was doomed to exactly the fate it has met. A professional class of politicians, bureaucrats, lawyers, and lobbyists took over, and citizens (increasingly uninformed or dis-informed) were left out in the cold. While the professional class still pays lip service to "democracy," their fundamental relationship to us is to 1) get money out of us, 2) make us dependent on them, and 3) keep us pacified enough that we don’t pick up pitchforks and tear their little con castle down.
Now, when a teacher, politician, U.N. worker, bureaucrat, or some other government supporter preaches about your "responsibility" to vote and otherwise "work within the system" she’s basically conning you. She’s either ignorant of reality or trying desperately to prevent you from exercising the "pitchfork option." She’s like the carnival pitchman whose patter and flamboyant gestures are designed to keep you from noticing what’s going on behind the curtain.
A few fundamental facts to keep in mind:

• Just as the press is free for the man who owns one, "The System" works for those who run it. And that isn’t you. That isn’t any group you belong to, not even the biggest and most powerful. "The System" works just fine - but doesn’t work for your interests.
• The one or two politicians who actually care about your rights are vastly outnumbered and rendered powerless by established ways of doing business. Their bills rarely even make it out of committee, thanks to manipulative leaders and procedural chicanery.
• The whole process of "law-making" is about making more laws, not repealing them. It’s about centralizing power, not distributing it.
• Even if your representative claimsto favor your rights, she almost certainly votes against them in huge, unread bills passed late at night.
• Freedom can’t be won back exactly as it was lost, through a long, slow process of lawmaking and regulation. The thousands of bureaucracies and special-interest fiefdoms that cling to government are easy to build, almost impossible to tear down. They’ll only be dismantled if there’s a vast change in the American consciousness -- which we aren’t achieving through all our politicking.

Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that those posturing politicians you’re begging to aren’t even the ones in charge anymore. As Mark Bateman put it so well in a letter to Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership:

We defeat them in the ballot box. We defeat them in the legislature. We defeat them in the courts. However, here is where they CAN AND ARE WINNING: the bureaucracy. The bureaucracy has for quite some time been the NEW lawmakers in our land and the ability of the BATF to simply make a ruling that turns YOU into a FELON for possession of what was once legal is creating law without representation. This is BANNING (through economics) and REGISTRATION by bureaucratic ruling!

All the voting, rallying, and political letter writing in the world won’t reach this class of professional bureaucrats and enforcers. They’re not elected by you. They’re not answerable to you. They don’t care about you and your pathetic little claims of "rights," and "justice."
Reality has changed. And if you don’t change with it, your rights will soon perish.

Changing the culture
"But if we don’t keep doing this," the freedom fighters cry, "things will get worse!"
Well, duh, things are getting worse ANYWAY.
In the ghettos of Europe, the "wise" men of the Jewish councils advised their communities to play by the Nazis’ rules – to go along to get along. "If we don’t," they warned, "things will get worse." People were loaded into cattle cars. People were taken into the woods and shot. People were enslaved, imprisoned, gassed, and flung naked into mass graves – and still the "wise" men counseled cooperation because otherwise, "things will get worse."
How much worse do things have to get before some people realize you can’t win at a rigged political game? Stop cooperating in the con! If the mark won’t play, the con artist can’t win.
You don’t even have to take the risks the young ghetto fighters eventually took. Your solution may be as simple as talking with your next-door neighbor. But it requires thinking far outside the political box. The solution is a grassroots reawakening. A rebirth of a Bill of Rights culture in America.
That’s is a major change, to be sure. Accomplishing it will take hard work and time - but no more time than you’re currently wasting on politics. Grassroots change is doable because, instead of trying vainly to influence unreachable men and women far away, it involves influencing the people around us -- family members, co-workers, neighbors, fellow students, children, fellow activists -- people we can reach.
Do something really dangerous, something that will truly scare our would-be rulers into taking us seriously -- encourage people to think and give them the tools to help them do it.
Bob LeFevre, the great, unconventional educator (on whom Robert Heinlein based his memorable character Bernardo de la Paz in the novel The Moon is a Harsh Mistress), once told an audience that, if he could push a button and instantly impose freedom he wouldn’t do it, because unless people had a change of heart, they would quickly turn around and create a new (and perhaps even worse) system of oppression.
Once we have a Bill of Rights culture, including a strong, healthy appreciation and understanding of the Second Amendment, the government will follow. (If it fails to follow, it will fall.) Even the bureaucracy, unalterable as it seems now, will be dismantled once people no longer want, and are no longer willing to pay for, what it represents. On the other hand, if we don’t attain a freedom- oriented culture at the most basic, grassroots level, then all the politics in the world won’t save us.

What you can do

Moral conscience is in dwindling supply in this nation. Our bankers are thieves, stealing TRILLIONS because they are allowed to do so. Nearly all of our politicians are venal, lying parasites who a century and a half ago would have all had their heads lopped off by rage-fueled mobs.
A growing proportion of our citizenry behave like hyenas, jackals and vultures at the slightest opportunity. Our nation has been invaded by twenty million illegal aliens.
Only a fool can’t see that we are headed for a potential showdown.
To those who will listen, it’s time to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself: “What am I going to do as this societal and fiscal decay continues to its logical end?”
You need to evaluate what you can independently do for yourself, quietly on your own, in the coming weeks and months? And I mean for just yourself, not your mate, family, friends, or neighbors. You’ll be of no help to any of them unless you’ve got your own base well covered first.
The most fundamental expansion of your personal power is to acquire the tools, and achieve the skill to have the means and wherewithal to defend against one, several, or even a dozen other human beings. The legally safe term is “self defense”, but when the code red light starts flashing, and your options are coming at you with overwhelming intensity, you will shift into the bone chilling animal presence of your primitive ancestors. But you MUST have the tools and a modicum of skill.
Most of The United States is unique in its stubborn persistence in actually preserving, and even expanding, the individual’s unalienable right to meaningful and justifiable self defense. The Second Amendment does not mean your right to squirt someone with pepper spray. It preserves your right to, under certain life-threatening circumstances, apply emphatic lethal force.
But let’s step away from political theory and extrapolate the situation to everyday life. That stranger you confront in the parking lot late at night.
The group of “youths” you run up against if you stroll a block too far into the “bad” side of town. The guy on the park bench watching you jog past.
The weird driver tailgating you on a desolate stretch of road. The knock on your door and someone you do not recognize standing outside waiting to confront you for one reason or another.I’m asking you to either prove or disprove your sanity here: Would you rather deal with these mundane issues armed, or would you rather simply take your chances? This isn’t “Leave it to Beaver” America anymore, friends.
This is now an America that has lost its way, a nation drifting in “situational morality” and where theft is called “redistribution of wealth”. Pre teens beat innocent people to death, and laugh and giggle as though it were a day at the playground.
Are you going allow yourself to remain defenseless? Are you going to be left staring at your cell phone (if you have time) as your 911 call is ignored because of massive overload?
Are you going to be a survivor, a potential protector of the innocent? Or are you going to be a Darwin Award Candidate, too stupid to even provide for your own survival?
Let’s cut to the chase. In my opinion Barrack Hussein Obama is going to be re-elected. This nation has become addicted to socialism. It will be Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton sashaying into the White House when the smoke has settled.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME to wait to see this actually happen to buy a gun or seriously stock up on ammunition. You have to act immediately. You must behave as though you have only a week from the time your read this to get your act together.
The rush is on for handguns. As I write this, Ruger and Smith & Wesson have BOTH suspended taking new orders because of an unprecedented six month backlog. Expect other quality handguns to be fetching record prices. It’s just supply and demand.
So let’s turn to the lowly shotgun in the “if you could own only one gun” debate. NOTE: This evaluation leans heavily on keeping within a tight budget.
A reliable pump shotgun is the gun to own if you could own only one gun. This is for home defense or for tossing in the back of your car in the event of social turmoil. Eight rounds of 00 buckshot skipped across the pavement and into the shins of a mob can be a very significant behavior modification device.
In my town the price of a Mossberg 500 pump (holding up to eight rounds) is less than $300. A box of five 00 buckshot is $4.50 (see photo) and a 25 round box of standard shot is $4.99. Do the math. Compare the cost to a handgun of significant caliber or a rifle of significant caliber along with ammo.
For less than $400 you can be seriously prepared with a shotgun. Practice with the bird shot and only try out the buckshot to get a feel for any difference in recoil. What’s also important is the reliability of a “thrift” shotgun.
The somber fact is that handguns are generally more difficult to hit something with than a shotgun. The “stopping power” of a 12 gauge round loaded with 00 buckshot is ruthless, and therefore preferable. As mentioned above, a street mob scenario presents no contest. A shotgun is just downright scarier to assailants.
Time for theorizing is over. Act now. Do what you can, for yourself, immediately.

What you can do, for yourself, right now (part 2)

The disgusting, lynch mob mentality that has arisen from the Trayvon Martin shooting case places us several notches towards race riots this summer. To the balanced observer, Zimmerman really does appear to have likely shot Martin in self defense. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Barack Hussein Obama started babbling before all the facts were in. These collectivist droids seldom retreat from any lie ... they simply magnify it further.
If George Zimmerman is acquitted the fuse will light. Remember Rodney King? If you live in an urban environment, don't be stupid. Pay attention!
Already there have been brutal beatings of whites by blacks as "payback" for Trayvon's death. In a Maryland incident, although so far not directly related to the Trayvon Martin case, it is stretching credibility to assume that the Blacks were not powerfully motivated by the Florida incident. The leading police officer in that investigation claimed it was not a hate crime. Unbelievable.
However, in an Alabama and a Chicago case, the Florida teen's death is part and parcel of the events. See Fox News and New York Daily Times.
To my knowledge, none of these attrocities has been labeled a "hate crime". Let's face it: had these acts of savagery been perpetrated by a pack of Whites on a hapless Black the sky would be falling. Special commissions, SWAT teams and aerial drones would be brought to the front, accompanied by a never-ending liberal media barrage.
By yourself, there is really nothing you can do to change the reality of this completely hypocritical situation. However, you can do certain things in the next several days that will empower YOU, should you be enmeshed somehow in the racist lunacy. No, I'm not just writing for whites or Hispanics. See JPFO' film "No Guns for Negroes".
In a recent JPFO article I advised the purchase of a pump shotgun and a hundred bucks of ammo. Total expenditure $400.
I'm going to now expand to suggestions for the second type of firearm you want to own: a "compact" 9mm pistol. Sure, we'd all like a custom big bore .45, but this article, like the previous one, lays heavily on BUDGET. That means the question of how much you get (ammo included) for what you have to spend.
The pistol you want to take a first look at is the Kel Tec pf9, ironically the same model semi-auto pistol used by George Zimmerman in the Martin shooting. (Kel Tecs are made in the USA, in Florida, so it is really no surprise that Zimmerman was legally packing one that fatal evening.) A friend of mine owns a Kel Tec pf9 and has put six hundred rounds through it with no jams. Ruger fans will praise the Ruger LC9, but I guarantee you that you will pay two hundred dollars more for that pistol ... if you can find one.
A Kel Tec will cost you somewhere in the $300 range. That leaves you a hundred bucks to spend on ammo. 9mm full metal jacket "ball" ammo is floating at about ten bucks per fifty box. Hollow point defensive rounds will cost you about a buck apiece in a box of twenty. You'll have 420 rounds of 9mm. You simply cannot beat this price unless you pack a .22 (which is still far, far better than nothing).
After you have run a hundred rounds of ball ammo through the pistol, you will load it with seven hollow points in the magazine and shoot them as fast as you can pull the trigger. If you get even one jam look for another brand of defense round. This is important. You must trust your defense round!
Again, 9mm ammo is cheap. The Kel Tec is cheap. And the pistol is very LIGHT. Lots of people have full size pistols, with very high capacity magazines, that they just don't carry because the gun simply weighs too much and is too bulky. The Kel Tec fits in your pants pocket easily. The small seven round magazines are convenient to stash in various other pockets.
If lunacy breaks out in your neighborhood, or while you are driving through an urban area you have a very significant "something" on your side.
If you live in a State that has "shall issue" concealed carry, get a permit immediately. If you are lucky enough to live in Vermont, Arizona, Alaska or Wyoming, with "Constitutional Carry" laws you are fine "packin'" right out of the gun shop door.
So, with a reliable pump shotgun, and a reliable compact pistol, you are covering a lot of ground. The pistol is added as your concealable weapon. Unless in absolute crisis situation, you will not be packing the shot gun. And if you are? You've got back up with the pistol.

Nothing raises the hackles of dictators, tyrants, and oligarchs more than the idea of a substantially armed citizenry. Disarming present or potential opposition has been the fundamental game plan of murderous rulers since Ancient Egypt and Rome.

From the more complex mass murderers like Adolf Hitler, and Mao, to tin pot lunatics like Idi Amin, the key to seizing power, and then maintaining it, has always been a disarmed opposition.

It is sadly ironic that the Founders of this nation had a better grasp of the concept “never again” than most modern day Jews, along with their non-Jewish Liberal ilk. The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and our Bill of Rights were all fueled by the then living memory of a relative punk in the annals of world tyranny: King George III.

However, the Founders understood “never again” within the context of our newfound liberty. And they did something about it: The Second Amendment.

It doesn’t take a degree in international affairs to realize that America is hated, and, more specifically envied, by most of the rest of the world. All around the globe, national leaders and their lapdog media (and therefore most of their gerbil citizenry) mock us as “cowboys” and “Rambos”.

The late, great Jeff Cooper, the guru of modern firearms technique, coined the word “hoplophobe” to describe this kind of gun hater and gun fearer:

"Well, we know what motivates the hoplophobe. He simply envies the man who can cope where he, the hoplophobe, cannot. A skilled, armed man lives on a plane of security and contentment different from that of others. This is not egalitarian! The man who cannot cut it, envies, fears and sometimes hates the man who can. This is all very clear, it is just a pity that so many people choose to hide their perfidious motivation behind what they claim to be crime control."

George Bush, no real friend of gun rights when push came to shove, said it right: “They hate our freedom.” He was referring to Islamic fanatics, but the fact is that most of the world’s elite, including the Western World, truly do hate us for our freedom to keep and bear arms. It is a hatred inflamed by envy, and there is perhaps no worse kind.

The armed American citizenry sticks in the craw of the globalist oligarchs who would, in an instant, bring their “New World Order” to bear upon our most treasured liberties.

They MUST destroy our Second Amendment. And following that, our entire Bill of Rights. These illuminated examples of self determination must be crushed lifeless and utterly erased from human consciousness before the Big Brothers (and now Big Sisters) of the world can have their way.

Enter the United Nations, a body of such laughable impotency, corruption, and venal stupidity that we’ve been lulled asleep at our guard posts. And along with these buffoons comes one of the most sinister words in the modern day English language: Treaty.

Long ago George Washington warned us of the pitfalls:

“The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop.”

And now, something so bizarre, so completely un-American, and so deeply sinister is slithering towards our shores in the form of what? An insidious and duplicitous “gun control” treaty.

“Oh! We won’t let that happen”, say our spineless politicians. Yeah right, just like they didn’t let the invasion of America by 20 million illegal aliens happen.

Many devoutly religious people attended synagogue or church from an early age. Young and impressionable, when an older person tells us something with fervent conviction, and on top of that it comes from the Bible, most children take it seriously. All in all, this is certainly not a bad thing. Civilization itself depends on morality being passed along clearly from generation to generation.

The first set of "rules of behavior" learned by many Jewish and Christian children are the Ten Commandments. Many of us did not know (and still do not know) that one of the key Commandments, the Sixth Commandment has been mistranslated, and inculcated into our belief systems, for centuries, and to generation after generation. What happens when the bottom falls out of the economy, the banks take a holiday, the food runs out in the markets and the city is overrun by looters and thugs wanting YOUR possessions, YOUR food, YOUR money so that they can sell them or use them themselves? You have nowhere to turn. You might even be without electric power and be sitting ducks for the government to herd you away to FEMA camps or marauding gangs. Do you bar the bathroom door and cower in fear? Do you use a fire escape? What DO YOU DO?

You defend yourself like an American citizen and you protect your family, yourself and your possessions with the guarantee of the Second Amendment behind you. You are NOT dragged from your apartment by soldiers into white buses or trains with shackles on the seats that go to FEMA camps or harmed by thugs who will kill you as soon as look at you.

Some days I feel like we are in a cross between "1984" and a Stephen King novel called "The Stand".

I hope and pray I'm wrong.

The Insidious Semantics of “Gun Control”

“Gun Control” advocates fall into only two categories: the Liars and the Ignorant. There is no third category.

The Liars invent the lies. The Ignorant believe the lies and repeat them.

Truly fervent “gun control” advocates are quite often mentally ill. Their most common clinical symptoms, projection and denial, are barely below the surface.

Because they often entertain a warped contempt of other human beings, they don’t trust themselves with guns, so they would prohibit firearms to all. They also entertain a primitive superstition about an inanimate object: “Guns are bad! Guns kill people!”

Read what a psychiatrist has to say about this in "Raging Against Self Defense". This JPFO essay will open your eyes, and give you an insight into the twisted mentality of the likes of victim vulture Sarah Brady or tragedy addict Representative Carolyn McCarthy. Both Brady and McCarthy are hysterical crybaby liars. Their mental illness bubbles just below the surface, actually becoming visible at times.

An altogether different category of liar is the authoritarian sociopath. Billionaire George Soros, Senator Charles Schumer, and billionaire NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg are sociopathic liars. They have no conscience. They would simply rule over all of us. They have no hidden, subconscious agenda like the classic mental and emotional cripple Sarah Brady. These fellows are simply cold, calculating evil liars who know exactly what they are doing. (Just to be "gender neutral": Senator Dianne Feinstein, the "Queen Bee of Gun Control" seems to have evolved rather easily into the higher ranks of the calculating, sociopathic liars. And a disgusting Australian harridan, Rebecca Peters, has, on George Soros money, taken her perverse, genocide-inviting distortions all the way to the U.N.)

On the other hand, the Ignorant "gun control" advocates are those, mostly well intentioned, people who have swallowed, and now believe, the lies fed to them by the cunning and malicious Liars.

Armies of deluded pastors, rabbis, and priests fill the ranks of what I call "gun control dummies". They just don’t know any better. Of course, many of them are emotionally manipulated by their own projection and denial. For an outstanding categorization of the seven major types of "gun control" advocate, you must see Gus Cotey’s masterful essay here.

The main thing that the Liars and the Ignorant share in common is a corruption of the linguistic meaning of firearms related words. They, because they also control the mainstream media to a huge extent, have been able to actually invent terminology, or in many cases change the everyday meaning of words! It is a stunning accomplishment … were it not in the service of a great evil.

Here are a few of their classic semantic manipulations:

"Gun Control": This is the "big daddy", the cornerstone, the very foundation of the gun prohibitionists’ deceptive artifice. The phrase, on first hearing, sounds innocuous. After all, why wouldn’t people carefully "control" their firearms? However, what "gun control" actually means is:

• Gun owner registration. Your name and address connected with a firearm’s registration number. A paper trail (or soon-to-be computer trail) straight to the door of any gun owner.
• The taxation or licensing of a Constitutionally guaranteed, inalienable, G-d given right to self defense. When you tax something you "infringe" upon it. Burdensome taxation and licensing fees move firearms ownership out of the hands of the honest and law abiding poor, the very people who, day by day most need the tools of self defense.
• A revocable permission, given by a fickle government, to bear arms in your self defense or the defense of the innocent. (Gun ownership "permits" or "carry permits".) Again, blatant infringement of a Constitutional Right.
• And these tactics set in place the absolutely essential mechanisms required to institute gun bans and confiscations. See: JPFO’s "Innocents Betrayed". If a government-gone-bad doesn’t know who owns the guns, and where the guns are, that government cannot effectively disarm its citizenry.

"Assault Weapon": This truly sleazy piece of semantic sedition can be laid right at the feet of Josh Sugarmann, Minister of Propaganda for the Violence Policy Center, and also an apparently compulsive liar. Sugarmann INVENTED the phrase, with the help of the liberal anti-gun mainstream media shills. An "assault weapon" is now any semi automatic rifle greater than .22 caliber.

"The semi-automatic weapons’ menacing looks, coupled with the public’s confusion over fully automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons — anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine gun — can only increase that chance of public support for restrictions on these weapons." — Josh Sugarmann, 1988, Violence Policy Center.

And it is working! Notice how, even when a hugely negative story breaks about BATFE’s horrific Mexican gun smuggling debacle, "GunRunner", only a very few media outlets accurately report the weapons illegally smuggled into Mexico under BATFE supervision as what they actually are: semi automatic rifles;.

Reporters who should know better are still mindlessly repeating Sugarmann’s "assault weapons" word trickery. Sugarmann has truly earned "The Joseph Goebells of Gun Control Award". He’s one of a kind. A naked, and unashamed, manipulative liar.

Next, we explore some lesser used, but effective anti-gun linguistic tid bits:

"Personal Arsenal": This is owning anything over two guns. Two guns is "Multiple Weapons".

A "Weapons Cache": This seems to be three or more guns. A "Hidden Weapons Cache" means you don’t leave your guns on the kitchen table all day long.

A "Stockpile of Ammunition" is anything over twenty rounds of any caliber. It’s really a "stockpile" if you have several calibers in your "cache". That makes you a "Survivalist" or a "Militia Member".

"Sniper Rifle". This one didn’t have anywhere near the legs of Sugarmann’s "assault weapons" jive. This is meant to be any deer rifle with a scope. As I recall vaguely, it was floated briefly by Teddy Kennedy. But since even the myopic Elmer Fudds in the gun owning community would get angry enough to do something about a "Sniper Rifle Ban", this trial balloon deflated and is lying limply in the gun prohibitionist’s back drawer for later use.

Oh wait! Actually it’s back! Calls to ban the .50 caliber Barrett bolt action! Now let’s see if they can just bring that caliber size down a bit, eh?

After all, America has more people capable of one inch groups at one hundred yards than any other nation on Earth. Personally, I find this somewhat comforting. Others do not.

"High Capacity Magazine": Interestingly, nearly every cop in America is packing two or three "high cap" ammunition magazines on their duty belt: One "high cap" mag in their pistol, and one or two in "mag holders" on the other side. Since cops have a greater G-d given right to defend themselves than we "We The Little People", Sarah Brady and Josh Sugarmann and Mike Bloomberg don’t call cop mags "high capacity". They’re just called "standard service equipment".

"Explosives". Gun powder like you buy at the sporting section in most Wal Marts for reloading. And notice how the BATF really glommed onto "Explosives" and got it added to their title, like Cub Scouts collecting merit badges. Always remember to call them the "BATFE". These dumb, jack booted jocks with machine guns deserve equal doses of ridicule and contempt. A large number of them also deserve jail time. Just watch.

"Armor Piercing Ammunition": Uhhh … like how thick of armor? And why can cops and soldiers have it and "We The Little People" cannot?

"Dum Dum Bullets" aka "hollow points". The opposite of "Armor Piercing Ammunition", so they must be okay … right? Wrong. They are ’s actually as bad! Why? Because all ammo, and all guns, are bad! Friends, wake up and smell the skunk. It’s right at your back door.

This is just an incomplete list of the word play of "gun control". ("Saturday Night Special" was a beauty, but now seemingly out of favor.)

Oh yeah! How about "Reasonable gun control"? I mean who wants to be "unreasonable"?

Let’s try to reach "Common Ground" shall we?

And add to that "Gun Safety", which, when pronounced by a Sarah Brady or Charles Schumer simply means a ban on guns?

The point being made here is that this will not stop! It’s ALWAYS a lie.

We won the Heller decision. We won the McDonald decision. And now, far too many gun owners have gone back into "doze mode".

Friends, you simply do not understand Obama and his "under the radar" mentality. Do you actually believe the gun prohibitionists will play fair?

To paraphrase a cliché about politicians: "How do you know a "gun control" advocate is lying? His/her lips are moving."

And that is THE TRUTH!
