GUN CONTROL, SUPPORTED BY CRIMINALS AND DICTATORS WORLDWIDE

“Can we all get along?”
The recent Sandy Hook and Jovan Belcher/Kasandra Perkins[13] tragedies have created a rallying point for those bent on limiting the U.S. citizen’s right to possess certain types of firearms. This is nothing new as each time a calamity like this happens, the same people rise up to blame the firearm’s for the event instead of the person wielding it. There is certain logic to their arguments, as the Founding Fathers never imagined a rifle capable of shooting a hundred rounds in a matter of minutes, nor did they conceive of bullet proof armor and the easily replaced clips turning mere mortals into killing machines. The Founders did, however, know all too well of the dangers of mob violence and the need to defend oneself.
On April 29th, 1992, America was waiting for the results of the trial of LA Police Officers accused of beating African-American Rodney King. The mostly white jury released its verdict of “not guilty” for the white officers at 3:15 pm, and within 30 minutes crowds of several hundred protestors were milling around the LA County Courthouse. Fifty police officers were dispatched to keep the crowd under control but retreated as the crowds started turning aggressive. Soon, the protests became a violent free-for-all as wide spread looting, torching buildings and brutality towards mostly white people turned South-Central LA into a war zone.[1]
As the ever more bloodthirsty crowd unleashed their fury on innocent victims, one scene was captured by a TV crew in a helicopter and replayed for millions of horrified TV viewers. White trucker Reginald Denny was driving by in his big rig when he was yanked from its cab by a group of black men, then bashed in the head with a claw hammer, a brick and an oxygen tank, nearly killing him and leaving him with permanent brain damage. Fortunately for Denny, an African-American named Bobby Green Jr. was watching and promptly intervened saving his life. By now it became clear the police had abandoned the city as widespread looting and violence reigned supreme.[1]
The next day dawned to even more ransacking and pillaging as the LA Police Department deserted several neighborhoods to the mobs. One of them was an area named “Koreatown” and like its name implied, was the home of mostly Korean immigrants. This area suffered massive property damage from the rioters and five storekeepers were killed. But unlike other areas of LA that surrendered to the non-existent mercies of the thugs, Koreatown fought back using pistols, shotguns and semi-automatic rifles.[2]
The Koreatown residents assembled themselves into militias and formed defensive parameters atop their stores and homes to ward off the looters. Like the trapped Navy SEALS in Mogadishu, these brave souls defended themselves with the knowledge that there was no room for failure. By the end of the day, they had killed four looters and wounded many others. But they had saved their town from further ransacking.
On the third day, Rodney King went on National TV and asked the rioters "People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along?" This was met by further looting and burning as the police were still AWOL from the scene. By the fourth day, the National Guard arrived and within 48 hours had the mobs under control. During the first five days, mobs around Los Angeles looted stores, burned 3,767 buildings caused more than $1billion in property damage, while some people died and around 4,000 were injured.
Walk Softly and Carry a Big Stick
There are several lessons to be learned from this horrendous event, the first being that police are not always adequate protection and fleeing is not always an option. The beating of Reginald Denny could have been much different had he been armed and prepared to defend himself like the people of Koreatown were. Those people realized they had been abandoned by the LA Police Department and would either have to defend themselves or have the rest of their neighborhood razed. They wisely and courageously chose to form mutually assisting militias and were spared further damage as the rioters chose easier prey.
Another thing to learn from this event is that no matter how one feels about the verdict handed down on Rodney King, there are those who feel the destruction of property, looting and killing was justified. In a recent interview with VH1, Henry Watson, one of the four thugs who would have killed Reginald Denny was asked if he had any regrets about his involvement. His comments are chilling: "There's no way that 400 years of the white folks' b.s. is going to be justified by this one ass whooping," said Watson[3] On a website dedicated to South-central LA history, the author justifies it like this: “The riots were not just a collection of random acts. People were speaking out against oppression; against being held down for so long. The only way they were finally heard was through the extreme acts that came to be called the LA Riots.”[4]
This article is not meant to raise issues of hate, anger or race, but to simply inform those willing to listen; The LA Riots will not be the last time something like this occurs. If thousands of Americans are moved to destroy their neighbor’s property or even kill them over a perceived injustice, than how far will they go if they’re hungry? One only needs to look to Hurricanes Katrina,[5] Irene[6] and Sandy[7], [8] to see how swiftly chaos can engulf a city. Now, picture the scene if the disaster is one that affects large portions or even the entire nation. There is a distinct possibility the Federal Government may be unable to stop anarchy in time to avert massive damage. This leaves it up to the local people to be the first responders and depending on the severity of the situation, this could break down to the individual to look after themselves and/or their family and neighbors.
As the US debt continues to ascend like a Saturn II rocket, there is the growing probability of a major economic disaster the likes of which America has never seen. This is at a time when more Americans depend on the government than at any other time in our Nation’s history. Since President Obama took office in 2009, applications for food stamps have increased 47%,[9] the amount of people receiving disability is now over double the amount of jobs having been created. As of January, 2013, more than 53% of Americans rely on some form of welfare.[10]
I Carry a Gun Because Cops are to Heavy

Now, what happens if the government is no longer able to pay millions of Americans their welfare checks? Few Americans have more than a day or two of food at home and fewer still can last over three days. What happens when millions of people no longer have the ability to go to McDonald’s for cheeseburger because they are broke? One does not need to read tea leaves or a crystal ball to see chaos spread like a forest fire on a 100° day in this scenario. Semi-automatic weapons are legal for this reason: they protect people from extreme cases of assault.

As is typical following an event like Sandy Hook and Jovan Belcher/Kasandra Perkins tragedies, the media and gun control crowd look to penalize law abiding citizens for the actions of a few. If, as they claim, these attacks will be eliminated and the lion will lie down with the lamb by the outlawing of semi-automatic rifles then places like Switzerland must more resemble a war zone than one of the wealthiest countries on earth. As of 2001, Switzerland had around 420,000 assault rifles (fully automatic, or "selective fire") stored at private homes. Additionally, there are some 320,000 semi-auto rifles and military pistols exempted from military service in private possession.[12]
With the growing potential of a Federal default in our future, the possibility of civil unrest grows with it. Knowing the Korean immigrants would have suffered more casualties and property damage had they left their defense to the police, it’s time to understand that to control extreme situations, one need to employ extreme controls.

http://www.activistpost.com/2012/04/trayvon-martin-and-gun-violence-setting.html

Didn't we all know this?  We, who are law abiding citizens knew all along Zimmerman was going to get strung up by the anti-Second Amendment forces within the US and the United Nations.

GOA: REP. WALSH TO UN: NO GUN CONTROL TREATIES!

FINALLY! A MAN WITH A PAIR...
OF GUNS, I'M SURE!

Gun Owners of America

Rep. Walsh to UN:
No Gun Control Treaties

Representative Joe Walsh (R-IL) has drafted a bill that would block U.S. funding to the United Nations if it seeks to implement gun control measures affecting U.S. citizens.
Despite victories by gun owners in elections and legislative battles throughout the country in recent years, on the international front gun control is moving quickly.
Most significantly, in 2012 the UN plans to release a final draft of the Arms Trade Treaty—a treaty that will have severe consequences for American gun owners.
Meetings are held behind close doors, but from information gathered by GOA we believe that the ATT will, at the very least, require gun owner registration and microstamping of ammunition.
The ATT will define manufacturing so broadly that any gun owner who adds an accessory such as a scope or changes a stock on a firearm would be required to obtain a manufacturing license.
It would also likely include a ban on many semi-automatic firearms (like the Clinton gun ban) and demand the mandatory destruction of surplus ammo and confiscated firearms.
President Obama, not surprisingly, welcomes the treaty. He knows that he is unlikely to get such radical proposals through the Congress, so the UN provides him a backdoor way to enact gun control.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is also on board and began pushing for the treaty as soon as she was confirmed in her position. “The United States is prepared to work hard for a strong international standard in this area,” she said.
Since treaties must be ratified by the Senate, GOA is working continually to buck up weak-kneed Senators who might be pressured to ratify the treaty.
But the House, which controls the nations’ purse strings, can also play a role in killing the ATT (or any other anti-gun treaty, for that matter).
Rep. Joe Walsh’s legislation will cut U.S. funding to the UN if the international body imposes any restrictions on Americans’ gun rights.
This is a huge deal, because without the contributions of the United States, the UN would be crippled financially. According to government reports, U.S. taxpayers foot the bill for 22 percent of the UN’s regular budget and 27 percent of its “peacekeeping” budget.
American gun owners, in other words, are funding the organization that wants to do away with the Second Amendment!
Rep. Walsh is putting the UN on notice: back off our gun rights.
Entitled the “The Second Amendment Protection Act of 2011,” Rep. Walsh is now seeking original cosponsors to join him in the House. He plans to introduce the bill within the next week.
Rep. Walsh highlights for his House colleagues the necessity of his proposal, noting that:
* It is the constitutional power of Congress to determine United States foreign policy through the ratification of international treaties;
* U.S. Presidents, by signing on to treaties, have opened the door for international organizations to unilaterally regulate the lives of citizens of the United States;
* International and transnational organizations force their rules on people of the United States through conventions, multilateral agreements, and nonratified treaties, such as agreements that affect the private ownership of firearms by law-abiding citizens; and
* United States sovereignty is risked by domestic legal applicability of international treaties and executive agreements that have not been voted on and congressionally adopted through formal processes.
Let’s help Rep. Joe Walsh get as many cosponsors as possible. In the process, we’ll find out how many Representatives are willing to stand up to the behemoth United Nations in defense of the Second Amendment.

POLISH POLICE TRAIN WITH US POLICE FOR HOUSE-TO-HOUSE GUN CONFISCATION

And that's why Obama and Hillary Clinton, visceral anti-gun communists, signed the USA on to the UN Small Arms Treaty.

It will suspend the Second Amendment.

What are you going to do about it?

Sen. Harry Reid wants anti-gun radical nominee for legal advisor to State Department, and a letter to send to you Senator waits for you to send below

Vote Coming to Confirm Anti-gun Radical
-- "Guns Kill Civil Society," says State Department Nominee

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a Wednesday vote on a State Department nominee who supports gun control on a global scale.

While advocates of the Second Amendment have come to expect that appointees of President Barack Obama would be hostile to the rights of gun owners, the president's nominee for legal advisor to the State Department reaches a whole new level of anti-gun extremism.

Harold Hongju Koh, who served at the State Department under the Clinton administration, is a self-described "trans-nationalist" who believes that our laws -- and our Constitution -- should be brought into conformity with international agreements.

"If you want to be in the global environment, you have to play by the global rules," Koh told a Cleveland audience.

Koh's positions treat our constitutional law as if it were a mere local ordinance on the greater world stage. This is of particular concern to gun owners at a time when the U.S. Congress is under pressure from President Obama to ratify an international gun control treaty with countries in the western hemisphere. That treaty, known by its Spanish acronym CIFTA, would likely serve as a forerunner to a more extensive United Nations initiative, the "Program of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in all its Aspects."

The Bush administration, under the leadership of UN Ambassador John Bolton, rejected the small arms treaty. Bolton plainly told the world that the United States will not accept a gun control document that violates our Constitutional right to bear arms. Harold Koh commented that Bolton was being "needlessly provocative."

In a paper entitled "A world drowning in guns," Koh maintains that a civil society cannot exist with broad gun ownership: "Guns kill civil society," he said.

Koh is eager to assume his post at the State Department, having lamented that there is only so much that can be done from the outside to push gun control treaties, and that ultimately we need people like him in positions of power. The chief lawyer for the State Department is just the position someone like him needs to put his agenda into play.

While Koh's nomination has been delayed largely because of Second Amendment concerns, Sen. Reid plans to force a vote this week.

It is imperative that gun owners contact their Senators and insist that they vote AGAINST this anti-gun extremist.

ACTION: Please contact your Senators immediately and urge them to oppose Harold Hongju Koh's nomination to the State Department. You can use the Gun Owners Legislative Action Center to send your Senators the pre-written message below.

----- Pre-written letter -----

Dear Senator:

The Senate is expected to soon vote on a State Department nominee who supports gun control on a global scale.

Harold Hongju Koh, who served at the State Department under the Clinton administration, is a self-described "trans-nationalist" who believes that our laws -- and our Constitution -- should be brought into conformity with international agreements.

According to Koh, "If you want to be in the global environment, you have to play by the global rules." Well, I don't support global rules that contradict our own Constitution.

Koh supports international gun control treaties such as the United Nations initiative entitles the "Program of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in all its Aspects."

When former UN Ambassador John Bolton told the world that the United States will not accept a gun control document that violates our Constitutional right to bear arms, Harold Koh commented that Bolton was being "needlessly provocative."

And in a 2003 Fordham Law Review article entitled "A world drowning in guns," Koh maintains that a civil society cannot exist with broad gun ownership: "Guns kill civil society," he wrote.

I urge you to reject this trans-nationalist, anti-gun extremist who would place foreign laws and international agreements on equal footing (at minimum) with the U.S. Constitution.

Sincerely,

Washington Times Editorial in Global Gun Control

which of course is manifesting itself here over the Mexican drug wars at the US borders.

Always remember the Hegelian theory. It's somewhere down the line in my former posts and I don't have time to look it up.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/16/global-gun-control/

I heard "we" are smuggling weapons across the border. Well, where do these assault weapons come from...could it be someone in our government distributing it? Citizens can't do it.

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY: a global travesty!

The terrorist in our midst is our government, no matter where we live on this earth.

To the left of this entry is a poll which should read "Will you resist gun confiscation under Obama", and you may have to click on the line below, "A Little Gun History". I am curious to see your answers. It runs to November 11. I don't know how to move it here...yet. I'll learn.

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

Dear Obama, if you have ANY sense at all . . .

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about

20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

------------------------------

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million
Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

------------------------------

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of
13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded
up and exterminated.

------------------------------

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million
political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

------------------------------

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan
Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

------------------------------

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000
Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

------------------------------

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million
educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

-----------------------------

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because
of gun control: 56 million.

------------------------------

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new
law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own
government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million
dollars. The first year results are now in:

List of 7 items: Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent Australia-wide, armed robberies
are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300
percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the
criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed
robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12
months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the
ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety
has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in
successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience
and the other historical l f acts above prove it.

You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians
disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes,
gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of
this history lesson.

With guns, we are 'citizens'.

Without them, we are 'subjects'.

In RECENTLY RELEASED documents, an astonishing fact has come to light: During WWII the Japanese had a DISTINCT and URGENT plan to bomb and invade the U.S., and decided not to invade America because they knew
most Americans were ARMED! TERRORISTS, so banner Obama: TAKE NOTE!
