But law enforcement, anyone in government can have machine guns if they want to - BUT YOU CANNOT.  YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED.  YOU ARE BAD.  YOU COULD BE A POTENTIAL TERRORIST.   Though the Second Amendment was to protect us from dictators and despots, dangerous invaders and ruthless murderers,  it also enabled, at a low level, the procurement of food through hunting.  Should the shit hit the fan in the coming days or months, and our food supply is turned off, those in rural areas will hunt to survive.

The Muslims today came out and said it's ok to cannibalize enemies of Allah - the infidels.

And then, we've gone so far today as to have a school in Colorado pledge allegiance to Allah.  Look it up.  I'm too tired to post it tonight.

Better start emailing, attending pro-Second Amendment rallies, calling your Congressional power craven perverts at their offices and visiting them when they're in their home district.

Our country, because of most of the politicians, pressure from global banks, and the United Nations, isn't good anymore.  She is weak because we have become weak.  We are not strong anymore - not physically, not mentally, not emotionally.  We have been fed propaganda in our schools, from the media, from the people we elect.  Our rights are forgotten in a fog induced narcosis.  We have allowed our government to become blatantly evil, dark and secretive.   It plots against us, numbing us with words and doublespeak until we know not who we are, what we've done, our past forgotten, the principles on which our country was founded dismissed as troublesome.  We are dependent, mindless creatures who believe in feeding at the trough of the government, and allowing a fascist communist to become a dictator - what we fought in every war...

Saddam Hussein
to name a few.

Like a virus, the vaccine of war didn't kill all of them.  The seeds remain and infect to this day, infecting every office of government in the land.

Our military are sent into endless war; in some cases, killing the dictator in the name of freeing the people, only to realize, our dictator is perfecting his crimes and he has taken our pride and our strength away from us, because we have forgotten freedom and liberty is up to us, not him.

Is that how we honor our country and our maimed and dead heroes? 

Who will rescue us from the dictator who has usurped the presidency, but us?

Great video of a Spontaneous Victory Parade in Honolulu in 1945. Take a look at this video-absolutely fabulous! Notice the cars, jeeps, and youth. The guys in khaki or gray shirts and black ties are Navy officers or chiefs. The rest are Army or Marine. How young they all were to do what they did.

My old friend, Pete, who passed away recently, was a fighter pilot on the other side of the world, fighting Germans while this was filmed.

It's a precious piece of American history we should pass on and never forget the spirit of our soldiers and the will to fight tyranny anywhere in the world.

Kate Smith was born and grew up in Columbia, Missouri .

In early 1940, Kate Smith, a fiercely patriotic American and the biggest star on radio, was deeply worried about her country.

She asked Irving Berlin if he could give her a song that would re-ignite the spirit of American patriotism and faith. He said he had a song that he had written in 1917, but never used it. He said she could have it.

She sat at the piano & played it and realized how good it was. She called Mr. Berlin and told him that she couldn't take this from him for nothing. So, they agreed that any money that would be made off the song would be donated to the Boy Scouts of America .

Thanks to Kate Smith and Irving Berlin, the Scouts have received millions of dollars in royalties.

Frank Sinatra said that when Kate Smith, whom he considered the greatest singer of his age, first sang this song on the radio, a million guys got "dust" in their eyes and had to wipe the tears the "dust" caused.

Today we honor our military. It is the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

It seems to me that there was little honor bestowed on our lost servicemen and women in an event that changed the world. I was born in 1943. But I remember the air raid sirens - they frightened me in our house, where one candle lit the rooms and the blackout shades were pulled.
There was an enemy submarine detected off South Beach, I think.

But we fought and won that war. Brave men and women won that war. The country was entirely behind them. There was focus and support. And we won. But now? The wars are endlessly dragging on and on with no real vision and no answer. Obama gave the enemy a timetable. Is that not giving comfort to the enemy?

Today, the President is off surrendering our sovereignty to global governance and phony science.
So much is wrong in Obamaland. Our United States has been reduced to a fraction of what it was. We are now the apologists because of Obama.

The Commander-in-Chief knows nothing of military matters.

Why are we in Afghanistan if Admiral McMullen, the President, and everyone else concerned will not let our military win this battle?

Or is it the poppy fields?
