When could there be another Code:RED or another DECON-2? The last time was during the Cuban Missile Crisis just over 50 years ago. But due to Kim Jong Un's declaration of war against the U.S. and his latest threat to strike at America with UNHA-3 long-range ballistic missiles armed with thermonuclear warheads, we must be aware that, now, a Code:RED or a DECON-2 could occur at anytime in the very near future.

North Korea's UNHA-3 Rocket, which recently sent a satellite into orbit, with an estimated nuclear missile range of approximately 15,000 kilometers or 10,000 nautical miles in distance, is able to strike at any American city, including those on the Eastern Seaboard along the Atlantic Coast on the mainland of North America.

Because the Obama administration had cancelled our "Missile Defense System" several years ago, we are no longer being protected from any incoming long-range missiles armed with multiple nuclear warheads.

Furthermore, not only did President Barack Obama cancel our previously operational "Missile Defense System," but he also "scrapped" all research and development or R&D and production of a far more advanced and efficient Missile Defense System that would have become operational by now and able to stop any incoming nuclear missiles from North Korea, China and Russia. However, unfortunately, at this time, we do not have any "Missile Defense System" that would protect us from North Korea's nuclear missiles because our recently advanced research and development or R&D and production came to an abrupt halt several years ago along with the cancellation of our previously operational system, which would now become obsolete.

Due to the cancellation of a far more efficient Missile Defense System program, all of the personnel involved with aerospace, electronics and ordnance related to its research and development or R&D and production, including scientists, engineers and technicians, were permanently laid-off and their supportive data, equipment and prototypes were confiscated and stored at various clandestine locations where they might not easily be ever recovered. So it would be extremely challenging and difficult to locate and recruit competent personnel as well as finding any related data and equipment to be able to return and continue with such a vital program.

So, I would urge you to contact the local and Washington, D.C. offices of your U.S. Representatives and U.S. Senators and request them to approve a research and development or R&D "crash" program for a far more effective Missile Defense System. Unfortunately, the "Missile Defense System," which the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Homeland Security have announced that they intend to "re-install," by 2017 will be too little and too late for the following two reasons. First, North Korea's long-range UNHA-3 ballistic missiles, compact nuclear warheads and launch sites are scheduled to become operational by 2016, while, according to our DOD and DHS, our previous "Missile Defense System" will not become, again, operational until 2017. Second, our "Missile Defense System," after it is "re-installed," will only become as effective as it was designed to perform over 30 years ago. Although that system proved to be highly-effective at destroying an incoming missile, during successful tests over the Pacific Ocean on a one-to-one basis, if North Korea were able to launch several long-range nuclear missiles on a similar course at the same time, only one of them would probably be destroyed in mid-air or space while the others would reach their intended targets with nuclear warheads that might kill millions of American civilians in at least some of our major cities. Our current "Missile Defense System" is now out-dated even for defending us against nuclear missiles from North Korea. Of course, it would be better than nothing, but it would never provide any complete security for most of us.

In the meantime, if the United States were to believe that it was about to be attacked by North Korea, its only option would be to attempt to strike first, which would only kill millions of innocent civilians without any assurance that Pyongyang's arsenal of death were completely destroyed. Of course such a desperate move by us could also cause China and Russia to strike against us without any warning, hence World War III. So we must be able to defend ourselves so that others are wrongly punished.

After America were to be struck by several nuclear warheads from North Korean UNHA-3 long-range ballistic missiles, it is possible that China and Russia might also consider launching some of their nuclear missiles at us to completely destroy our nation. So we must do whatever it takes to develop a "crash" program for a highly-efficient Missile Defense System. Please contact all Members of the U.S. Congress who represent you. Thank you.

If I may leave a brief biography about myself with you, perhaps you might be in a better position to understand my geopolitical background related to this current dilemma which we face.

Due to what happened to Oleg Penkovskiy and President John F. Kennedy, perhaps you can respect my decision not to release the following until rather recently.

John W. Spring provided analytic reports that were sent directly to President John F. Kennedy, which, according to archived records, were personally read by him. Due to my highly- sensitive information on former Soviet deployment of Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile launch sites in their early construction stages at what was then located in Pinar de Rio province in northwestern Cuba, President Kennedy authorized U-2 aerial reconnaissance flights over that part of the island during the fall in 1961. Nearly a year later, my earlier findings were confirmed and that became the Cuban Missile Crisis. While Oleg Penkovskiy, who had provided Soviet military manuals to the West, which included descriptions and photographs of their Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles or IRBMs, was arrested by the Kremlin as the spy who was responsible for the United States discovering those nuclear missiles in Cuba. So Penkovskiy was executed by the KGB after being severely tortured in prison. President Kennedy was also shot and killed on orders from Chairman Nikita Khrushchev who became so angered after he was unable to destroy nearly the entire United States with a population, then, of almost 180 million Americans.

In January of 1963, John W. Spring officially graduated from California State University with a B.A. in Geography. His world regional specialty has been East Asia and the Pacific Area for over 50 years. He has advised other American Presidents on geopolitical and economic matters since the last months of the Eisenhower administration.

Confirmed: Obama Made No Calls, Took No Action During Benghazi Attack

Last week, Lindsey Graham's unrelenting line of questioning compelled Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to confirm under oath that not a single military asset was deployed to help rescue besieged US personnel in the course of a terrorist raid in Benghazi, Libya.  The September 11, 2012 attack lasted nearly eight hours, during which four Americans died, including our sitting ambassador.  Multiple requests for increased security in the weeks and months leading up to the massacre were denied.  Urgent warnings that the Benghazi consulate couldn't withstand a sustained attack were ignored.  (The compound didn't even meet minimum security standards for American diplomatic outposts anywhere in the world).  An eleventh-hour cable accurately predicting an imminent attack resulted in...nothing.  Explicit calls for help during the prolonged raid went unheeded amidst a flurry of "stand down" orders.  One of many lingering questions regarding this outrageous episode is what our Commander-in-Chief was doing throughout the ordeal, during which America's real-time response was evidently paralyzed by chaotic indecision.  Yesterday, the White House finally shed some light on this question by releasing a letter describing what President Obama was not doing as American diplomats' lives hung in the balance: 

President Obama didn’t make any phone calls the night of the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the White House said in a letter to Congress released Thursday. “During the entire attack, the president of the United States never picked up the phone to put the weight of his office in the mix,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, who had held up Mr. Obama’s defense secretary nominee to force the information to be released. Mr. Graham said that if Mr. Obama had picked up the phone, at least two of the Americans killed in the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi might still be alive because he might have been able to push U.S. aid to get to the scene faster. The White House has said Mr. Obama was kept up to date on the attack by his staff, though after being alerted to the attack in a pre-scheduled afternoon meeting he never spoke again with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin E. Dempsey or then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

And there's this, which (a) re-confirms what we've known for some time, and (b) begs the question of why the administration approved false talking points for public consumption: 

Mr. Panetta told Congress last week that he knew immediately the attacks were a terrorist assault, though the White House downplayed that notion in the first five days after the attack.

Who conceived of the false talking points and why were they employed at all, let alone for days?  Why were requests for security upgrades repeatedly turned down, especially since our intelligence knew of at least ten active jihadi groups operating in Benghazi at the time?

 

If the Commander-in-Chief wasn't in contact with his top people throughout the raid, and if he wasn't ordering the full might of the United States military into motion to protect the lives of our diplomats (which he's claimed is his "number one" priority), what was he doing over those eight hours?  Our only clue is a campaign rally in Las Vegas the next day, which the president attended as scheduled -- having blown off another daily intelligence briefing, which was a habitual occurrence.  That these questions have not been sufficiently answered -- or even asked, in some cases -- is less a product of masterful White House stonewalling as it is a profoundly vexing indictment of our media.

But hey, "what difference does it make?"

Gun Owners of America Oppose Joe Manchin’s Veterans Gun Ban and National Gun Registry   Reports out of Capitol Hill reveal that just-reelected turncoat West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin is about to stick a big knife in the back of American gun owners.  And to make matters worse, he's lying about what he’s doing. Both Manchin and House anti-gun crazy Carolyn McCarthy are claiming to be “working with NRA” to enact gun bans and national gun registries.  NRA says flatly that Manchin is lying, and we believe he is. (The Hill, 1/24/13) Ironically, Manchin was the “gun owner's best friend” on November 5 -- the day before his reelection to a six-year term let him to pull a great big “gotcha” on those West Virginians who were tricked into believing his representations. But make no mistake about it:  Joe Manchin’s draft would impose a gun ban on veterans and would set up the framework for a national gun registry. 150,000 honest law-abiding veterans are currently in the NICS system.  They didn’t do anything wrong; they honorably served their country.  But when they sought VA counseling for a traumatic combat experience, the VA appointed a fiduciary to oversee their fiscal affairs and then took away their guns.  And, again, there are 150,000 honest veterans in the system. New York Senator Charles Schumer viciously fought a Coburn amendment on the DoD bill which would require that veterans get their day in court before their rights were taken away from them, and he won. What the Manchin bill is about is insuring that “bad guys” like veterans can’t get guns.  And, under Barack Obama's “Executive Action #1,” the NICS list could soon include tens of millions of additional soldiers, police, firemen, and other law-abiding Americans. But veteran disarmament is not the only problem with Joe Manchin’s gun ban. Manchin's bill would set the framework for a national gun registry and impose a chokehold on gun sales.  There are at least four big reasons for this: FIRST:  Every gun owner in the country would have a “Form 4473.”  Increasingly, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives are going into gun dealerships and illegally copying all of those 4473's. SECOND:  The FBI refuses to tell us how or whether it's complying with federal law by destroying the Brady Check names, rather than keeping them for a national gun registry. THIRD:  As it is, the Brady Check system is breaking down on days such as last year’s Black Friday -- outlawing all gun purchases.  If you have to drive 200 miles from your farm to sell your gun to your neighbor, this effectively outlaws any efforts to sell or buy a gun.
