I was told by Rep. Steve Southerland's office that it has been postponed. I believe today was the day it was to be voted on to be made permanent. There is no reason for this legislation. It is a danger to the people and a terrible blow to the Second Amendment, to freedom and liberty.
Southerland's staffer said he hadn't read it all yet, but there were some parts he agreed upon.
Not a good sign. We voted for you to repeal any bill that did not further liberty and freedom, Steve.
We told you to defend the Constitution and you said, "Absolutely". We are engaged, vocal, and inspired because of the last election.
Do what you promised.
