Anti-gun host finally admits firearm advocates might be onto something

Is
British CNN host Piers Morgan finally admitting gun advocates have a
point when they say the Second Amendment is to protect citizens from
tyrannical government?
Morgan has made headlines for many months as he loudly trumpeted the cause of gun control, even to the detriment of his shows ratings.
Since
the Sandy Hook massacre last year – in which Adam Lanza shot and killed
20 students and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. –
Morgan has made advocating for gun-control legislation a frequent topic
of his program, clashing with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich or rocker and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent, for example, and calling Gun Owners of America’s Larry Pratt “an unbelievably stupid man” for disagreeing with him.
Following reports of his vitriolic attacks, a petition was started on the White House “We the People” website demanding Morgan be deported back to England – and it now has more than 109,000 signatures.
As WND reported,
despite his avid criticism of guns, Morgan protects his own personal
property with signs warning that it is guarded by “Armed Response
Security Systems,” according to a recent investigation by self-described
“guerrilla journalist” James O’Keefe.
And on March 11, Morgan insisted that, “people need the nanny state occasionally.”
Now
– after learning of the Obama administration’s involvement in the IRS’
targeting of conservative groups and its secret seizure of Associated
Press phone records – the CNN host admitted to guest Penn Jillette that
perhaps gun advocates were right about creeping tyranny after all:
“I’ve
had some of the pro-gun lobbyists on here, saying to me, ‘Well, the
reason we need to be armed is because of tyranny from our own
government,’ and I’ve always laughed at them,” Morgan said. “I said,
‘Don’t be ridiculous! Your government won’t turn itself on you. …
“But, actually, this is vaguely tyrannical behavior by the American government.”
He
continued, “I think what the IRS did is bordering on tyrannical
behavior. I think what the Department of Justice has done to the AP is
bordering on tyrannical behavior.”
Jillette agreed with Morgan, stating, “There’s no doubt about that. Once you use the word ‘bordering,’ that’s true.
“I
also think that it shows you that how much we can trust the government
and just sit back– which is not very much at all. We have to be ever
vigilant.”

Why are the House and Senate allowing this madman/dictator to do this? Why is the Pentagon - isn't there anyone who will stand up and defend our Constitution? No? Then you all need the wrath of your constituents visited upon you until you understand you are mere employees we sent to do a job, and that is uphold the Constitution and not to bow to a two-bit dictator.
Someone sent me an email responding to this and he was right.
He called them "pussies", and pussies they are.
They have been emasculated (all but Big Sis and Hillary). But they have their own agendas besides this.

I tried to post it earlier - couldn't do it. Something prevented it. It speaks to this issue of a corrupt, unconstitutional regime in DC and I'll go back and try to add it to the blog today. I had shut down - and will try again.
You need to see it. I believe his name is Col. Potter.
But seriously, we need a sweep (and I don't mean with a broom) against our terrorist regime that has co-opted and moved into the White House and who has infected most of our "politicians" (that dirty, filthy word), we sent to Congress. He addresses that.

You guys were amazing! Your efforts have accomplished what, four
months ago, many in Washington thought was impossible: a total and
complete victory (for now) against President Obama’s anti-gun agenda.But let's face it. We're never going to be able to let our guard down entirely, until the 113th Congress adjourns in December, 2014. Senator Harry Reid has now pulled the gun bill from the floor. And it appears he would have to move to proceed in order to bring it up again - something that would require 60 votes to do so. Moreover, if Obama tries to make another run at gun control, pro-gun senators are prepared to go on the offensive and offer amendments to back Harry Reid down. These provisions would include pro-gun amendments that:
1) First of all, there’s you! The Nutty Lefties now fear you guys more than any group in America. Give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work. It has been noticed by many on Capitol Hill and even by the anti-gun media. Just consider some of the recent headlines:

Honorable mention also goes to Senators John Cornyn (TX) and John Thune (SD) and their offices. While Cornyn is a key player on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Thune is the leader of the Second Amendment Task Force in the Senate. Both offices provided invaluable support in strategizing and marshaling the opposition to Reid’s gun control efforts. Finally, we should not forget Minority Leader Mitch McConnell who adopted a very sound strategy in combating Reid’s gun control bill. Nor should we forget the words of the Declaration of Independence and our “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence” for His defense of our rights. 3) The gun lobby that represents you. GOA and NRA stood together in opposition to gun control. Our presence was even able to pull another gun organization onto the right side - the one that announced it was originally supporting the Toomey-Manchin-Schumer provision. As we alluded to in a previous alert, that group later renounced its initial support. 4) The Senators who both supported the Paul-Cruz-Lee filibuster and opposed the Toomey-Manchin-Schumer provision. Realize that many of these Senators who voted right were under INTENSE PRESSURE to vote wrong. GOA has heard of intense debates that occurred in some of the offices that voted right. And yesterday, the Brady Campaign began using its platform on MSNBC to urge gun banners to call their Senators and hammer those who voted for the Second Amendment. So it is imperative for us to not forget those who voted right! With that in mind, we are listing below the Senators who voted correctly on the TWO MOST IMPORTANT VOTES: the vote AGAINST the motion to proceed on S. 649 on April 11 and AGAINST the Toomey-Manchin-Schumer amendmend on April 17. There are 31 Senators who voted right on BOTH of these key votes, and this is who they are:
And you might point out the following irony to those Senators who voted wrong: During a week when the Senate voted to infringe upon the rights of gun owners, the residents in Boston were cowering in fear and locked in their homes hoping that one of the two bombers didn’t go into their homes and take them hostage while they’re hiding from the cops. Gun control does not make us safer and does not stop bad guys from acquiring dangerous weapons. How they voted. But above all...It is my personal opinion that the USA will be hit with a catastrophic event that will be staged by evil minions in our government. Remember the Hegelian theory. It's on this blog somewhere.
It will be so catastrophic we will be herded into the camps and martial law declared. Freedom and liberty gone.
It might be children, all massacred in an unprotected school, a mall bombing, a stadium event, an entertainment venue, who knows? It's just stirring in my gut.
It is no time to celebrate. It's time to gear up for the next round. Say your prayers and if you want to celebrate, buy another gun for your collection. We are the resistance. We are also the peacemakers, and all of those who opposed us on Second Amendment and other rights being removed, MUST BE PRESSURED TO LEAVE, AND THAT INCLUDES OBAMA, BIDEN, THE GANG OF 8, HARRY, NANCY, CHUCK, BAUCUS, ETC.
Remember what Biden said, that scumbag. If there was ever an unAmerican statement, this was it:
