Kenyan-born Obama noted in foreign press articles
Note: Out of curiosity I googled Google news with “Kenyan-born Obama” and below are the results. It certainly doesn’t prove he was born in Kenya but one might wonder if foreigners know more than we do. I’ve provided the links for each of the articles.

All in all, I began thinking about the fact it could be true and where would that leave us? Right now, because of how far we’ve come in the election process, it probably won’t make a difference to the powers that be. Because of our economic vulnerabilities it could set off a major problem throughout the world if Obama was not sworn in as President.

Is American Democrats leading presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama, really a phenomenon, an enigmatic being or a mere lucky chap who is enjoying popularity because of the colour of his skin?
This is the puzzle that keen political observers are trying to solve about the young and colossus Illinois senator, whose great strides in American politics are on the verge of rewriting black history.
African-Americans are mainly known for sports and entertainment, while the economic and political terrains are considered to be the exclusive preserve of the white. It is this wide held belief that makes the superlative performance of the Kenyan-born Obama in the ongoing race to get the Democrats’ nods in the presidential election against the Republicans beggars description. Many analysts are of the view that it is race of a lifetime not only for Obama but for the entire black race in view of the enormous and domineering influence of America in world’s affairs.

After almost two years of campaigning, Democrat candidate Barrack Obama, Republican, John McCain yesterday brought their train to a halt in their respective home states to await the verdict of Americans.
So far, the odds favour the once underdog in American politics, Obama, the African-American Senator from Illinois State.
A Congressional Quarterly (CQ) politics monitored on BBC put the Kenyan born American ahead of his rival, Senator McCain.

The Kenyan-born president-elect was favoured by the financial and economic crises that struck the US in mid-September. Exit polls released by the CNN early yesterday showed the voters preferences were economy (62 per cent); Iraq (10 per cent); terrorism and health care (9 per cent each) and energy (7 per cent).
