They made their sacrifice when America was good, innocent, full of vitality and great.

Our country, because of most of the politicians, pressure from global banks, and the United Nations, isn't good anymore.  She is weak because we have become weak.  We are not strong anymore - not physically, not mentally, not emotionally.  We have been fed propaganda in our schools, from the media, from the people we elect.  Our rights are forgotten in a fog induced narcosis.  We have allowed our government to become blatantly evil, dark and secretive.   It plots against us, numbing us with words and doublespeak until we know not who we are, what we've done, our past forgotten, the principles on which our country was founded dismissed as troublesome.  We are dependent, mindless creatures who believe in feeding at the trough of the government, and allowing a fascist communist to become a dictator - what we fought in every war...

Hitler
Mao
Pol Pot
Saddam Hussein
to name a few.

Like a virus, the vaccine of war didn't kill all of them.  The seeds remain and infect to this day, infecting every office of government in the land.

Our military are sent into endless war; in some cases, killing the dictator in the name of freeing the people, only to realize, our dictator is perfecting his crimes and he has taken our pride and our strength away from us, because we have forgotten freedom and liberty is up to us, not him.

Is that how we honor our country and our maimed and dead heroes? 

Who will rescue us from the dictator who has usurped the presidency, but us?

MacArthur's Farewell Speech

Heard this yesterday for the second time. I was 8 when he made it, and I remember my parents discussing it, though I didn't know its significance. What an articulate leader he was! It is as relevant today as it was then. Our soldiers who are sent to war (even in this undeclared war), are not sent to win.

The speech is lengthy, but listen just the same. How different the mindset of the people then.
