"They" have it all wrong.
Our Founders wanted us to bear our arms to control the armies of the tyrant, and the tyrant...the one who would usurp power of the office of President, with one goal - to destroy liberty and freedom.
It had nothing to do with hunting. It had everything to do with self-protection, self-preservation, self-reliance and the protection of our Republic! Our firearms are the only way we keep the Republic and our human rights under the law of our land.
