Private property rights? Fourth Amendment rights?
When you have ordinances and restrictions/covenants on property, it will never be "yours".
This rabbit is this child's pet. She should be allowed to have her rabbit.
Did you know they make great family pets? Easily housebroken, quiet, clean. Their manure, in dry pellet form (right from the rabbit), is an excellent immediate use fertilizer for plants.
I think a call to the city is in order.
