When my uncles on my Dad's side were alive, two of them were deaf and mute.  And they married deaf and mute women.  They all spoke rapidly in sign, having gone to the school for the deaf in NYC.  I never learned, unfortunately.

This makes me shriek inside.  This is so repugnant, so stupidly ignorant, so terribly offensive...how dare anyone...ANYONE...EVEN CONSIDER THIS.

The USA is going mad.  Anyone who suggests this child be made to change his name should be banished from the planet.

I hope this goes to the Supreme Court.
