MARKING BALLOTS TODAY IN FLORIDA

What a laugh.  My ballot sheet is marked.  Again we have a choice of next best worse.

What is it with this concept of being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.

We have Marti Coley, who in her campaign materials "spearheaded" the fight against the egregious septic tank bill introduced by Jimmy Patronis (a RINO businessman up here), to really do harm to the homeowner and Sen. Bill Gaetz pushed it, too.  Then the little guy caused a flap and supposedly, Coley spearheaded it to death.  Killed that snake dead.
BUT!

Ninety five per cent of the original wording now appears in SB 1263 (I think) - anyway, it's hidden.  So it wasn't killed, and we just found out about this a week or so ago.

Patronis is running unopposed.  I won't vote for him at all, even though.
I can't vote for Coley.

We have County Commission people up for vote...the best thing is, as Derrell Day said his grandfather told him to do, is vote out the incumbents, which I plan to do.  We enforce term limits ourselves.  Horror of horrors, they allowed the sale of our county hospital.  I cannot forgive them for that.

I am disgusted at the show Rep. Steve Southerland put on before he was elected when he ran against blue dog Allen Boyd.  We had such high hopes for this Republican.  He turned out to be just another disappointment.  Voted for NDAA.  That was the worst thing; will not stand against the DHS/TSA regime.
Would not call for impeachment.  Would not sign on to any bill I thought promoted freedom and liberty.

But I can't vote for the opposition because he's a Democrat, and though I have met him and liked him and his wife, it seems the only thing he wants is "better public schools" to extend the liberal/left agenda.  I can't do that.

I have a headache.  Voting should not cause headaches.

Earlier in this blog I wondered if I could run against Southerland.  Basically a conservative libertarian, I think I could be someone impossible to be bought off.  I am a stubborn old bitch and I come from the land of "NO".  NO to the president; no to corruption in government, YES TO STAND UP FOR MY COUNTRY AND THE CONSTITUTION IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CONGRESS AND ASK WHY WE HAVEN'T IMPEACHED THE POS PRESIDENT, STAND UP TO BOEHNER, TO BERNANKE, TO GEITHNER, TO HOLDER, AD NAUSEUM.

Why don't we have people like me in government.  I'll tell you.  Just to get myself on the ballot, would have cost $10,000 and there's doubt if the Republicans would have accepted me.

People should not have to come up with megabucks to do honest work in government, FOR THE PEOPLE.

Of course, even if you had the best of the best, the vote can be skewed and defrauded so easily...

The parties have lost their minds and their way.  Maybe there should be no parties.

That would work for me.

Then you'd have to scrutinize the candidates.

Anyway - I have to go and get ready.  Lots to do since I have 16 dependent children and it's raining.  And eight of them do not like to go out in the rain.

Vote today.  Don't forget.
