A SOLDIER'S DECK OF CARDS -

I remember listening to Tex Ritter's recording of this back in the 40s. And I remember where I was - I was with my favorite aunt, my mother's sister, at the Westerleigh Savings Bank in Staten Island, in the gold Packard. She left the radio on for me. She loved country and western music. That was in the days before television, when we were free, just after WWII. I've added Tex Ritter's version, too. (Tex was one of my heroes.)
