SAM, THE GROUCHY AS USUAL BEAR

My book, a story of love, loss and magic is my little offering to children of fallen soldiers, and those who are struggling to cope with loss and grief at Christmas and throughout the holidays, and waiting for you on Amazon.com and through the publisher's website in many different forms: http://irishstoryplayhouse.com/IrishBookStore.html.

The reviews are excellent.

If you are stumped on what to give a child (or even an adult) for Christmas, the story of the grouchy looking little bear who no one loved and lonely, fatherless five year-old Katy, is a thoughtful story I created to give comfort to the bereaved.

For some of us, Christmas and the holidays can be nearly unbearable. But remember this: There is something or someone ready to reach out to you, if you let it happen, just like Katy and the unsmiling, enchanted bear. Things may not be what they seem. Open yourself to magic and find comfort in love.

It's beautifully illustrated by Maggie Guinn, a wonderful artist from Panama City, FL.
When the idea finally took form on paper, I gave the manuscript to Maggie, who did such beautiful artwork for my "Waltz on the Wild Side - An Animal Lover's Journal".

She called the delightful watercolors, "scribbles". Some "scribbles", Maggie!
