Ever hear Kurt Elling?

I have one treasured album of his. Today I heard him on the local jazz station singing a really rich version of "Say it Over and Over Again", and so I thought I'd share him with you in case you haven't heard him before.

I found a Coltrane cut of "Say It", and hope you like that, too (can't believe you wouldn't).
The version I heard was full of violins and very, very sweet.

Here are the lyrics so you can sing along with Coltrane.

SAY IT (OVER AND OVER AGAIN)
From the film "Buck Benny Rides Again" (1940)
(Frank Loesser / Jimmy McHugh)

Say it over and over again,
over and over again,
Never stop saying you're mine.
Say it, ever and ever so sweet,
ever and ever so sweet
Just like an old valentine.
When you say I love you,
the same old I love you,
They whisper in stories and plays,
You can
change I love you,
the same old I love you,
To oh such a heavenly phrase.
So say it softly and gently and then,
over and over again,
Never stop saying you're mine.
