Never mind that GLOBAL WARMING ISN'T EVEN REAL! The only impact RGGI has made so far is they have raised energy prices and created a slush fund for each member state. What exactly that money is being used for is unclear. Each state is capped on their carbon emissions and taxed if they use them up. RGGI added a 0.9% increase in energy prices in New England.

The Beltway sense of entitlement is mind boggling. While everyday Americans struggle to pay the bills and live through the stress of the Recession, RGGI is rolling in the dough. RGGI Chief, Jonathan Schrag is living a life most of us could only dream of. In June, Schrag and his wife Kristen purchased a $2.2 million dollar loft in Manhattan. Schrag's posh condo is 2,000 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a nice view of the Manhattan skyline. Schrag's luxurious residence is only a five block walk to the RGGI headquarters. I guess he didn't want to risk creating a carbon foot print by driving to work.

Schrag is paid to keep secrets. He has refused to disclose how much money he makes and the salaries of his employees. Schrag told New Jersey Watch Dog to get lost when they asked him to disclose RGGI's records. In the most recent public disclosure requests from the IRS Schrag declined to reveal how much everyone is paid in the organization. Most companies have to reveal to the IRS the salaries of their employees. RGGI is given special treatment because our government is backing their scheme.

GULF COAST RESIDENTS - COPY, MODIFY, MAKE IT YOUR OWN AND SEND TO WHOMEVER YOU LIKE
Here is a letter to the editor I wrote today, hoping of course, it will be printed. Take it and run. Make it better, leave it alone I don't care. It's yours if you want it to send to your elected officials. Show it to your Sheriff. Ask lots of questions. We should not be the last to know anything that affects our lives, liveliehood and personal safety. Make sure you talk this over to your own Sheriff.
After listening to the excellent speech Sen. George LeMieux gave
yesterday on the Burnie Thompson Show this morning, I have a proposal.
The Sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer in the county. The
Sheriff can hold all federal agents and agencies at bay unless, of course,
that Sheriff has been federalized by accepting grants for equipment and other help.
That begs the question - where does his allegiance lie?
Rumors of a mass evacuation by FEMA have been circulating for at least three weeks
and appeared in the Wayne Madsen Report yesterday. This is not just for
populations on the immediate coast, but for 200 mile band inland.
The federal government has said it is concerned with methane (which may
be fearmongering, since methane degrades by itself), and the toxic
vapors from the dispersant Corexit, which is toxic in itself. The fear
is that it will attach to rain and pollute our water sources. The
longer it takes for the well and fissures to be capped, the longer we
will be forced to remain away from our homes and business. Where are we
going to be put? In FEMA camps? What happens to families with
livestock and pets? We won't be able to take them. What happens to our homes?
My proposal is to gather the Florida sheriffs of the counties this
affects - to 200 miles inland, and make them aware that this should not
be a mandatory evacuation and to remind them of their duties to the people in their
counties. Apparently those in Louisiana do not understand their power,
or that they have the power to arrest federal officials.
The federal government and the Obama regime are not responding to the
needs of the people of the Gulf Coast. There is much profiteering going on with the investment in Corexit, and
its parent company by people like George Soros and several entities like
Goldman Sachs, but I won't belabor that. You can do your own research. It is also in the interest of
this administration to pass cap and trade. When that is done, I believe
miraculously, that well will be capped.
It is imperative that we hear from Sheriff McKeithen as well as Mark
Bowen on this so that we can be forewarned of 1) any evacuation attempts
by FEMA, 2) their stand on house-to-house firearms confiscation like
what happened (proof on video) in New Orleans during Katrina, and 3)
their loyalty to us by supporting those who do not want to be evacuated
should the scenario play accordingly.
The federal government is not helping in the effort to effectively or
rapidly prevent our Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico from becoming a dead
zone.
We do not need the Coast Guard to tell us we cannot help our own waters by
aiding the clean up ourselves or be arrested. Who is giving these
orders? Are we at war now with our federal government because we want
to save our environment? And why are foreign countries being ignored
when they have offered (early on) vessels and technology to help us? Any why
haven't more available skimmers and collector vessels been sent to the
Gulf Coast. There are thousands of them available now in the USA.
That is why we need a united front of Sheriffs in the coastal counties
to stand with the people and say NO to the federal government when it
comes to evacuation and NO to the federal government when they threaten
us with arrest for galvanizing to action.
We hear nothing from our Sheriffs. And that is why we need this
meeting. We need this unity to show the entire country that the Gulf Coast
will NOT be the sacrificial lamb for cap and trade.

Arizona pits itself against the federal government, illegal immigrants and heavily armed drug and human traffickers, and the denial of help to our Gulf Coast. OBAMA PLANS TO SNEAK THROUGH CARBON TAX BY STEALTH

I am ashamed of my country under the Obama regime.
This oil spill compels me to believe that this tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico is a distraction:
To distract and pass Cap and Trade/carbon taxes
To distract preparation for a war in Iran that will draw in China and Russia
To distract from illegal immigration
To distract from payoffs and bailouts
To distract from a Supreme Court nominee who is a communist
To distract from George Soros who controls the White House
To distract from the steady march to one world government
To distract that BP helped write the cap and trade bill, and will benefit by it
To distract that under cap and trade, gasoline could go up to $10/gal easily
and your energy bills be monumental
To distract you from the deceit of our corrupt government.
To distract you from the global small arms treaty that will disarm the American citizen
and destroy that part of the Bill of Rights and Constitution that gives us safety in a sovereign
country.

Good thinking from a friend in Montana on less government, socialism, and Cap and Trade
THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE TO SEE WHAT GOES ON BEHIND OUR BACKS.
Subject: Obama's Crisis Management
Hello Patriots! Obama made his first speech from the Oval Office, and after rattling off some numbers, statistics, and other details about the oil spill went straight to the heart of his speech agenda- pushing his plan of imposing cap and trade on the American people. Obama says "we must accept the cost of cap & trade", and is using this oil spill as a poster child for demonizing our traditional energy sources and the companies that have been providing this energy to America. Accidents happen, and believe it or not every accident doesn't mean that there needs to be more sweeping governmental legislation, regulation, and taxation. Private industry takes the accidents and learns from them, but in Obama's mind it means something different- opportunity.
Rahm Emanuel let the cat out of the bag last year when he said "Never let a good crisis go to waste", and that has been the Obama modus operandi ever since. A crisis emerges, and instead of leading the country he sends his progressive allies to Capital Hill to pass legislation, regulations, and additional governmental control. It is a never ending circle of trying to fix everything with legislating, regulating, and taxing, when the only real remedy is LESS GOVERNMENT, NOT MORE.
Every time Obama speaks, another layer is peeled off and a clearer picture of his socialist agenda comes to light. Obama has long wanted a system of cap & trade that will saddle virtually all Americans with higher energy costs, yet will do nothing substantial at all to help the environment. This will result in the largest tax increase in history, and therefore the largest transfer of wealth from private persons and private industry to the federal government. This is what it all boils down to- the re-distribution of wealth, flat and simple. Cap & trade is nothing but a fund-raising scheme by which the federal government can fund it's socialist programs, and get more people in line for the never ending handouts, bailouts, "stimulus", and subsidies. Money goes from your pocket, to the government's pocket, then to the pocket of a more "needy" or more "deserving" person than you.
Cap & Trade = Re-distribution of Wealth, a socialist mainstay. See if you can come up with another country that has adopted cap & trade that isn't a socialist stronghold- ?????
This may sound like I am beating the same old drum all the time, but if we don't remain vigilant and watchful of what the federal government is doing we will be surprised one day when we wake up and America isn't here anymore. The land will still be here, your city will still be here, your house, dog, and car will still be here, but America will be gone. We will merely be another failed nation, with powerless people ruled by progressive socialists like so many other countries in the world.
We can't let this happen. Not now, not ever. We must do whatever we can to convince Congress that Obama's cap & trade agenda is not what "We the People" want, and let them know what we do want- LESS GOVERNMENT.
