Nearly 20 years ago a group of us who supported the removal of fluoride from our community's drinking water (the county), went to a commission meeting to deliver pounds of research on this topic. We found that it was a lucrative deal; that fluoride would be delivered and added to the municipal water treatment plants for delivery into the drinking water and the county paid. They did not have to pay a cent to purchase it.
This by-product of aluminum processing is toxic. It is found in pesticides. If you were caught dumping it into a water source, you'd go to jail for life. Or more. It is toxic. But if your local government believe it's a good deal for them and protects from dental caries, or if they like kickbacks and grabbing some easy cash for the community, they'll continue to be proponents.
There are many who do not question and support this additive. That's a decision you must make, so read up on it, please watch that first video, and make your own decisions.
You can make safe toothepaste from peroxide and baking soda. You can even sweeten it with extracts. I believe I listed some recipes here in former entries.
Doubt is good.
Questions are good.
Research is good.
Unfluoridated water is good.
