Entitlements and the Constitution (and Obama's promises)

An essay just received -

Lowest Common Denominator
by Dr. M. Sidney Wallace
The United States of America was not founded on perfection. In fact the first sentence of the preamble to the Constitution stresses that the objective is an attempt to form a "more perfect Union."
The founders of the United States were not children who had no concept of what it meant to be a responsible adult. They were adult men who had had experienced sleeping in cold homes in the winter, eating only what they had managed to provide by the sweat of their labors, not having modern hospitals to treat their minor wounds which if left untreated would end their lives. A trip of forty miles was an all day adventure. News and information transfer was at the speed of horse and buggy. The original attempt at a national government was collapsing in dismal failure. So our founding fathers set out to improve the American government and thereby by provide equal opportunity for all of its citizens to strive for whatever goals they decided to set for themselves. It took another hundred years and five hundred thousand lives to get true freedom for all established.
The word entitled is use only in Article IV Section 2 where it states, "The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States." Absolutely no where in the original Constitution of the United States is any individual guaranteed that he or she will receive or be entitled to the resources of others simply to establish equality for all.
The Democrat Socialist Party believes that all citizens of the United States should be equal above all else, and the only way to achieve equality is to establish a common denominator for all of American society. The Democrat Socialist Party is using this concept to gain social and political power over their subjects, and former citizens of the United States.
They paint word pictures of inner city slums and tell the gullible masses that these conditions must be changed by the government. They show images of run down shacks with rain water leaking into the living area and tell the gullible masses that these conditions must be changed by the government. Next your Democrat Socialist Party displays pictures of suburban homes with manicured lawns, and tree lined sidewalks. They say that everyone in American should be allowed to live in homes like these with or without individual perspiration.
What they don't tell you is that the majority of these individuals living in these nice homes came from the lower quality sleeping spaces by using their God given talents and actually working for them. What each American needs to ask himself is, "Will the government allow me to keep the money I am saving and working for, in order that I might be able to purchase my dream home, or will my government purchase what they think is adequate housing for me and spend the rest for my less than deserving neighbor in the name of social equality?" If you believe that every man is equal in all respects, then sit back, chill out, and vote for the new messiah Obama and get ready to move into your neighborhood housing project.
