HB1505 - THE REAL STORY IN BACK OF THE DHS LAND GRAB.

So let's walk this issue back and look at what's really going on. The DHS wants to lop off the top 1/3 of Montana , the top half of Washington and North Dakota as well as a similar take over of New York , Vermont , New Hampshire and Maine ostensibly to protect us from all of the drug cartels, crazed fast and furious gun runners and border jumpers coming in from peaceful Canada . What, you say?

Why is the Obama administration so aggressively attempting to secure our peaceful northern border while continuing to allow our fast and furious wide open southern border to remain an open crime and drug door into our country?

Remember when Obama said we have to get away from using fossil fuels and become a green fuels America ? Well, along this swath of our northern border lies the world's latest oil boom, the Bakken Range. Is this why these people now are demanding to stop the access of Americans to their own land to drill for their own energy independence? You think? Eric Dany, noted stock prospector editor, is quoting Investors Business Daily thusly: "There may be more oil under Montana and North Dakota ranchland than under all of Alaska !" Dany goes on to say The Bakken could go a long way toward assuring American energy independence with as much as a potential field of 503 billion barrels. He estimates even if The Bakken only contained 200 billion barrels of sweet light crude drillers could bring oil to Americans for as little as $16 per barrel, thus making us energy independent and bringing in an $18 trillion dollar economy surplus!

Reportedly, the local McDonald's near the booming North Dakota oil fields could be offering prospective employees $300 signing bonuses. So does the Obama land grab now explain itself? So now, do efforts by our Queens and Kings in Congress to shut off our ability to email them about this outrageous HB 1505 reveal their real raison d'etre? Unnerved Montana activists trying to stop this enormous proposed school trust land swap are saying this really is all about locking up extensive US lands from resource development throughout America . They are calling this the greatest federal land grab in US history. And you have to pay to tell our Queens and Kings to stop it now.

Tonight I had the pleasure of seeing a citizen patriot coup on a Representative

Allen Boyd, (D-FL) one of the Blue Dogs who didn't vote for Obamacare (I have a feeling he wanted to avoid a confrontation among his constituents), finally relented and gave us the honor of a town meeting. He had to do this to placate us here in Bay County, after he so rudely left town because we'd gathered over a thousand people on the grounds of Gulf Coast Community College where he was supposed to speak last August on a very hot day. It wasn't really a town meeting then - it was a controlled meeting with tickets in advance and screened questions, moderated by media personnel. But again, he canceled.

So tonight we peons in Bay County got our revenge. On a rainy night, the results of the tail end of Tropical Storm Ida, I guess we really did show him our collective ass.

We pretty darned near filled the bleachers on one side of the gym, and half of the other side. He began taking two questions from each section. We nailed him time and time again.

We had to sit through admonishments to be polite - his rules. We listened to questions that got no answers. We sat through his rudeness, and at one point, he nearly pulled an older gentleman, a veteran I believe, down the steps trying to remove the microphone from his hands. He was so rude and so disdainful that he was a disgrace. But aren't they all? He decided not to answer questions and that's when we decided to walk out.

We heckled, we stood and applauded, we sat and applauded, threw in an occasional "boo" and heard him tell, despite a terrible sound system, lie after lie, evade questions, and in some cases, turn away while people were still talking, showing us a degree of disrespect we will not soon forget.

One of our medical professionals gave a lot of background on his practice, insurances and just about called Boyd a liar. This fellow knew names of staff he had given information to and was never given the courtesy of a return call or letter. He is an ex-Marine. He made us proud with his knowledge, professionalism and tenacity. I was sitting two seats away when Boyd just turned his face away and continued down the line.

Two more questions and I saw one man head for the doors, stopping to speak with Burnie Thompson, our early morning talk show host. Burnie was standing throughout the meeting at the back of the gym, shaking his head. He is a passionate lover of freedom, liberty and the Constitution.

I started to leave, turned around and there were people following me in a trickle. Then there was a rush for the doors. Some of us gathered in the lobby.

We had done something quite significant. We turned our backs, literally, on our so-called elected Representative. After you are in office, re-elected many times over, feel like you're so secure NO ONE will ever unseat you, and you start sweet talking your constituents when they are informed and aware and get this treatment, it must be like a kick in the gut. I think he knows he's dog meat.

He lost control of us. He is no longer in control here in Bay County. We were finished with him "Sshhhing" our senior women, and ignoring the issues. We were disgusted with his behavior.

I just saw him on television after the meeting. He looked drained. The reporter asked how he felt with people leaving "like that", and all he could muster was some sort of doublespeak followed by "I respect that." But he also said he felt our anger.

You can say that again, Boyd. I hope that tomorrow he will ask his staff to start collecting packing boxes because he's not going to make another term.

You will not, Allen, lie to us anymore. We will not allow it. And you will do nothing to harm our country. One small vote is nothing to crow about. You are not the head honcho, the top banana,
the big cheese, the only rooster in the coop. You are not going to dispense bull pastries anymore to an informed constituency.

But you will, I'll wager, vote for that Obamanation called Obamacare in the next round. But then soon after you will no longer be a Congressman. Steve Southerland will take care of that. He's going to replace you.

Shame on you, Allen old boy.

PS: To help all of them pack, I suggest we donate a small amount of peanut packing material in small containers, packed tight so that your Congressional weasel will get the hint. Staff can put them in a big plastic garbage bag with that packs a huge carbon footprint, and when the boss gets unelected, they can put them to good, green use. Waddya think?

THIS IS SHENAYNAY, AND SHE NEEDS A HOME!

She is an inmate of the Bay County Animal Control, a state-of-the-art facility in Youngstown, FL, run by a staff of compassionate, dedicated employees who are not only a credit to the County, but to the animals they are trying to place. The new Director is Jim Crosby, and he has taken this high kill facility down to 50 per cent kill rate through aggressive adoption outreach. His goal is to reduce it further.
Bravo for Jim and his staff.

Shenaynay (Gentle Spirit) is suffering from Big Black Dog Syndrome, through no fault of her own. She was just born big and black. She is half Great Dane and half Doberman, though her head says Dane. Her color is, I am told, blue, though at first she appears black. She is only 14 months old. She seems to know basic obedience, and here she was focused on a Cheerio, fed one at a time.

She came into the reception area with exuberance and met small children, adults, a tiny puppy, and two adult dogs. I've been told that cats do not bother her.

Someone chopped her ears off. A hack job like that tells me that it is possible because she was a big puppy, that she may have been pit bull bait. I just have that feeling.

She is still a silly girl, being so young, but her time is running out. She has been at this facility for weeks.
