GOOD AFTERNOON!

(WOW, I WAS SITTING THERE DURING THAT FINE INTRODUCTION NOT REALIZING THAT I WAS THAT ACCOMPLISHED…….AND I THOUGHT……….HMMM, MAYBE I SHOULD STICK AROUND TO SEE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!) J I’D LIKE TO “THANK’ PATTY FOR THE INVITATION, BUT I WON’T! J I AM HAPPY, HOWEVER, TO APPEAR BEFORE SUCH AN AUGUST GROUP, EVEN THOUGH IT IS ONLY APRIL!. I WANT TO THANK MY LOVELY WIFE CAROL AND HER SERVICE DOG ANNIE (ALSO KNOWN AS O BEE ONE KA DOGGY – THE WONDER DOG) FOR ATTENDING. NEITHER OF THEM REALLY WANT TO HEAR WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, BUT THEY BOTH LIKE TO EAT! J

MY SUBJECT FOR TODAY – IS PART THREE OF A SERIES I CALL WEAPONS OF WAR - RECENT AND THE SHORT TERM FUTURE.

WHEN I WENT TO MILITARY ‘CHARM SCHOOL’ THEY TOLD ME THAT BEFORE YOU GIVE A TALK, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TELL A JOKE. I GUESS THAT’S TO LIVEN UP THE CROWD A BIT. MY JOKES ALWAYS GET ME IN TROUBLE AS THEY ARE AT THE VERY LEAST ‘BORDERLINE’, SO ONCE AGAIN I’LL ASK THE LADIES INDULGENCE FOR ANY TRANSGRESSIONS. TALKS OF MILITARY SHOULD HAVE THEIR ONE LINERS BASED IN HISTORY. THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

STALIN, CHURCHILL AND ROSEVELT WERE AT THE MALTA CONFERENCE IN 1945. THE CONFERENCE WAS OUTDOORS AND A “U” SHAPED TABLE HAD BEEN BUILT ON A RAISED PLATFORM. CHURCHILL ON ONE SIDE, ROOSEVELT THE OTHER, AND STALIN AT THE END….. JOKE.

WITH THAT…… HMMMM. MY PRIMARY EMPHASIS WILL BE ON LATER DATE UNMANNED VEHICLES. AND IN KEEPING WITH MY ‘SHOW AND TELL’, I’M PASSING AROUND THIS .458 SOCOM BULLET. IT WON’T HURT YOU AND IT WON’T GO OFF. MY CONTACTS TELL ME THAT THIS IS THE SAME TYPE BULLET USED ON BIN LADEN BY SEAL TEAM SIX, NOT THE STANDARD NATO 5.56 AS CLAIMED. YOU CAN SEE WHY THEY GOT RID OF THE EVIDENCE. DESPITE “EXPERT” INTERNET RUMORS, THE .458 IS NOW USED AS THE STANDARD ON SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAMS - THIS IS A 405 GRAIN, SUBSONIC, EXPLODING BULLET USED IN SILENCED WEAPONS. I’LL HAVE MORE TO SAY ABOUT BIN LADEN IN A FEW MINUTES.

FIRST, I WANT TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE RQ-44 GLOBAL HAWK DRONE. I AM HANDING PICTURES OUT OF THESE WEAPONS TO CIRCULATE AS I TALK ABOUT THEM. I’LL START ONE DOWN EACH SIDE OF THE TABLE. THE FIRST PICTURE OF THE HAWK IS JUST BEFORE IT WAS DEPLOYED IN OCTOBER 2009, JUST ABOUT 27 MONTHS AGO.

The craft appears again just above with its wings switched into the perpendicular position. Top right shows an enemy vehicle where insurgents have just occupied trying to get away after exploding an IED against the troops. The bottom right picture is the drone detonating itself just prior to impact.

DRAGONFLY BUGBOT MAV

From a reliable source my contention is that bin Laden was likely stung by micro UAV (MAV) bugbots flying around his compound days before the SEALS attacked. The bugbots, never seen by the multiple residents of the compound, took photos of bin Laden as he exercised on the grounds of his own “safe house.”

The micro UAV bugbots would “sting” Osama bin Laden with crystal clear photographs and live video feeds of his daily fast walks around the perimeter just inside its 12-18 foot high walls. The photos and video feeds would then be relayed from the Abbottabad safe house to the Field Operation then via satellite to the Pentagon for verification and confirmation before the President was briefed on bin Laden’s certified location. Aeroenvironments Hummingbird Nano UAV.

The concept demonstrator has a wingspan of 6.5 inches and weighs just 19 grams – a little less than an AA battery. Cyborg Moth

Cyborg moth implanted with a computer chip takes flight into enemy territories in hope to spy and transmit a video feed as well as other information back to base. The computer chip implanted whilst the creature is still a pupa, in the cocoon, enables the moth’s entire nervous system to be controlled remotely. The moth will thus be capable of landing in the camp without arousing suspicion, all the while transmitting information back to its masters via what its developers refer to as a “reliable tissue-machine interface.” More importantly however, this Cyborg Moth will help bring down terrorists and thwart future terrorist plots. Although a few experiments have been done over the past couple of years in which other animals, such as rats and cockroaches, have been operated on and driven by joysticks, this is the very first time where the chip has been injected in the pupa stage and “grown” inside it.

The J-UCAS X-45 program is a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency/U.S. Air Force/U.S. Navy/Boeing effort to demonstrate the technical feasibility, military utility and operational value of an unmanned air combat system for both the Air Force and the Navy.

Operational missions for the services includes suppression of enemy air defenses; strike; electronic attack; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Imagine being an opposing fighter pilot and seeing THIS thing suddenly appear in your rear view mirror. He has better armament than you do. He has more fuel than you do. He is more maneuverable, and, if all else fails, be happy to crash into you to take you out.

IN SUMMARY LET ME GIVE YOU A QUOTE FROM AN INTRODUCTION I WROTE TO A TOP SECRET AIR FORCE STUDY (CALLED AF 2000). I WROTE THIS PASSAGE IN THE FOREWORD IN 1979. “IN THE YEAR 2000, OUR GROUND TROOPS WILL BEAR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY WEAPONRY, PERSONAL ARMOR AND LIGHTER WEAPONS WITH MORE AMMUNITION. WE WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO REMAIN UNSEEN TO OUR ENEMIES AS WE STRIKE DEEP WITHIN THEIR POSITIONS. AIRCRAFT ENTERING HOSTILE TERRITORY WILL LIKELY BE SMALL, LIGHTWEIGHT DRONES, CONTROLLED FROM REMOTE DISTANCES.”

THIS IS THE THIRD IN A SERIES OF TALKS I GIVE. THE FIRST IS A SUMMARY AND USE OF EXOTIC WEAPONS USED DURING THE VIETNAM WAR – THE “CHRISTMAS TREES”, THE CLUSTER BOMB UNITS, THE “PEOPLE SNIFFERS”. THE SECOND IS THE USE OF THE “PET ROCKS” BY SPECIAL FORCES IN THE FIRST GULF WAR AND THE WEAPONS THAT “SHOOT AROUND CORNERS”, AND HOW A COMPUTER VIRUS DEFEATED THE IRAQI’S. I CAN TELL YOU OF THE USE OF CARBON FIBER NETS TOWED BY HELICOPTERS THAT SHUT DOWN THE BOSNIAN POWER WITHOUT HARMING THE ELECTRIC FACILITY. AND THE UNFORGETTABLE THE “PLAN” TO RESCUE THE IRANIAN HOSTAGES.

I’VE SHOWN YOU, SOMEWHAT, TODAY WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING – REALLY RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES. THE REMOTE CONTROLLED COCKROACHES (REAL ONES) WERE SUCCESSFULLY TESTED ALMOST FIVE YEARS AGO. THE DRAGON FLY WAS VERY PROBABLY USED IN THE BIN LADEN OPERATION. THE LIVE MOTH? WELL….. JUST WAIT. IF OBAMA DOESN’T DESTROY OUR COUNTRY FIRST, YOU WILL SEE THINGS IN YOU’RE LIFETIME YOU NEVER DREAMED OF – JUST LIKE YOUR GRANDPARENTS.

WHILE I ALMOST FELT LIKE NOSTRADAMUS, IN 1979, I NO LONGER HAVE THAT WARM COMFORT ZONE OF BEING ABLE TO PREDICT THE FUTURE. MY WORK WITH WEAPONS DESIGN ENDED DEC 2, 1982 WHEN I RETIRED AND I’M NO LONGER “CURRENT”. ALL I CAN SAY IS “GOD BLESS US ALL” AND “GOD HELP US ALL”.

NOW TO FINISH WITH A true story from the pages of the Manchester Evening Times.

Last Wednesday a passenger in a taxi heading for Salford station leaned

over to ask the driver a question and gently tapped him on the shoulder to

get his attention.

The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up

over the curb and stopped just inches from a large plate window.

For a few moments everything was silent in the cab. Then, the shaking

driver said "are you OK? I'm so sorry, but you scared the daylights out of

me."

The badly shaken passenger apologized to the driver and said, "I didn't

realize that a mere tap on the shoulder would startle someone so badly."

The driver replied, "No, no, I'm the one who is sorry, it's entirely my

fault. Today is my very first day driving a cab.

I've been driving a hearse for 25 years."
