She's very ill tonight.
She has a bad heart and a pup came into the house incubating kennel cough. For younger dogs, not so bad. It's like a cold - but for the old ones, the problems are significant.
Trying to lower her fever and hoping the antibiotic will work through the night.
She's a tough old girl, but you wouldn't believe that if you saw her tonight. She can't keep anything down; coughing, full of mucous. Hard for her to breathe.
I'll be at the vet's tomorrow, early.
Say a prayer, send a kind thought, a loving wish, good vibrations...she needs them tonight.
She's been an important part of life here on the creek for many years. She was also a rescue.
