I have several Chinese friends, and particularly a local one who is very frightened at what is happening here. She is an immigrant. She sees her freedoms being stripped; her children, though they are young, not as free as they were when they arrived here. The family works 24/7 and now the economy threatens their business.
Not to digress, but I have another friend from Siberia. She is old and ill now, and she escaped the Soviet Union and came here as the wife of an American serviceman. She is highly educated and has a keen interest in politics. She was a vulcanologist. She sees the United States falling to communism.
If you speak to your friends or family who escaped to America, you will find that we are rapidly caving in under this administration to the socialist/Marxist/totalitarian communist government that brave people risked their lives to reach.
Why are we letting this happen? And why do we allow presidential appointments of blatant
in-your-face men and women who have communist ties and support ideologies that are counter to our foundation?
