Why are we sacrificing our military in an undeclared war? Any why is our president not calling them home or removing the country from existence?

War isn't pretty. It isn't for reports and paper pushing. A country sends its soldiers into battle.
In Afghanistan, there is so much hate for westerners, it is a diabolical scenario. Or is it about precious poppies and opium as much as Islamization of the world?

Does anyone know anymore? Will we ever know?
