I have two friends with lupus AND and one has a rare cancer of the blood, lupus and arthritis. Both are clean freaks and the latter has her premises sprayed regularly, for we live in the southern kingdom of bugs. Big bugs.

I remember using DEET sparingly when we lived in the Florida Keys. I never liked putting something on my body that killed another living thing so I resorted to long sleeves and pants.

Some people I knew there just slathered themselves with it.

I wonder if there will be long term consequences of it?
