Janet, here's the deal. You aren't performing well at all. We need to replace you. You want to do something to redeem yourself? Scrap the scanners for all the reasons you well know. Sell them for scrap. Or to industries that use these for quality control. Got that?
Next thing. Obama gave you over a billion dollars for new scanners. Don't do that. Instead, you take that money and start building a fry and die fence on the border. That the Mexican border.
You haven't lived up to your promise there, but if you do what I suggest, it'll help your reputation which is so far down the well now, it's not even up to the gutter.
PR trips aren't going to fix it.
You are horribly unreasonable and unfit for the job.
You simply don't have a clue.
The border could be made of one strip of toilet paper. It's that simple.
You're taking up office space and wasting taxpayer money.
I suggest you give me a month in your chair and then step down. I can do the job.

I just spoke to Rep. John Boehner's office. I got "that guy" again (who the hell does the hiring in that office?). Unresponsive as usual, but this time he said Boehner has NOTHING TO DO with TSA.
Oh, REALLY?
I read him a small riot act. Didn't bother him at all.
I think it's time to literally start fighting back. If our newly elected officials can't handle TSA, maybe their constituents had better start.
Time to call the local sheriff and if this gets out of hand, and we call for TSA arrests for sexual molestation, are they going to come to our aid, or NOT?
As an American, and one who believes in the rights guaranteed by my Constitution, against TSA rules, it's time for all of us to REFUSE this treatment. We aren't the enemy here. We are being terrorized and stripped of our guaranteed rights as human beings.
Where's the ACLU?

Washington Post: Homeland Security allows search and copy of electronic materials at the border at will
DHS expands border searches
WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security now allows agents to search and copy electronic materials at the border without suspicion.
Before changing its policy in July 2007, Customs and Border Patrol agents needed probable cause to conduct a search.
The latest change in July 2008 lets agents detain electronic devices and documents for any period of time and copy them with no suspicion.
Searches of laptop computers could reveal “a massive amount of private information such as personal e-mails, financial data or confidential business records,” said Electronic Frontier Foundation staff attorney Marcia Hofmann, according to The Washington Post.
The DHS said it changed its policies to combat terrorism and be more transparent. Critics, though, say the law was changed without adequate public input.
“For 20 years the government has at least implicitly recognized there were some First Amendment restrictions on reading and copying documents,” said Shirin Sinnar, a staff attorney with the Asian Law Caucus, according to The Post. “It’s disturbing now that the government has jettisoned that policy in favor of one that violates First Amendment rights.”
The new DHS policy also allows CBP agents to share data obtained during a search with other law enforcement agencies if there is suspicion of illegal behavior.
At worst, other law enforcement agencies could theoretically turn this policy “into a loophole” and obtain information for which they ordinarily would need probable cause or reasonable suspicion, said Georgetown University law professor David D. Cole, according to The Post.
