NBC or MSNBC has decided to ignore Ron Paul. Therefore, if they ignore Paul, they will ignore others. Laura Ingraham today said that Paul has NO CHANCE. This is an example of media bias.

Tell a lie enough times from various sources, and the people will believe it. That's an old Pavlovian condition fact. But we are not dogs.

It isn't that I'm such a Paul supporter, but it is dangerous for us to believe what the media is spoon feeding us, no matter what party "they support". It is up to us, with our own brains in gear, to decide, and that comes from researching their records.

I am firmly of the belief that Glenn Beck is a plant. I told you pages of entries ago that there is always a "but" if you listen carefully to his programs.

Now I am convinced.

I've had reservations about him. I listen to him, but the "buts" wiggle into his commentary more often than I'd like. There's wiggle room. I don't like that.

So this article pricked my ears, caused me to run outside, wet my finger and hold it up to the wind.

You can't trust the media. At all. The media - in print, on radio, on television - feeds your brain the easy way. It's all done for you. Easy to digest and believe.

Everything is hype. We're bombarded with it - in the schools, in the newspapers, on tv on radio (unless of course, you're listening to Alex Jones), in magazines, etc.

Repeat it often enough and everyone will believe it.

I don't believe we nasty, dirty humans have altered nature's plan. Nature is bigger than we are.
So stomp around this weekend and leave your tv's off while you leave your footprints joyously all over the planet.

I was just cutting out blackberries - they grew strong even in the cold. The iris is up, so I transplanted some. I thought some kind of nettle was a variety of herb or catnip, and it stung my nose. I'm still burning.

Spring is arriving here just on time. Hopefully I'll get seed potatoes in on St. Patrick's day.
