CF LIGHTBULBS A SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD TO WOMEN, CHILDREN, DUE TO MERCURY CONTENT

Been saying this repeatedly. What about pets? What about men? Mercury stores itself in the brain. It's TOXIC. The USA doesn't make them. CHINA MAKES THEM...TO POISON US AND POISON OUR LANDFILLS.
Why are we doing this? We could manufacture LED lighting IF we had the technology, which we do. There is a new flashlight in the house. It floods light for at least 300 feet of better than daylight. I grumbled that it was made in China. We need to make INEXPENSIVE LED LIGHTBULBS here in the USA that aren't toxic to us or our land.
Our government has outlawed incandescent bulbs. The LED lightbulbs which are super-efficient, exist here, but are very expensive. Our government wants you to buy from China. Why can't we make them here so that everyone can afford them. Their lifespan is unbelievable.
I want us to have available a supply of light made in the USA.

EMPLOYERS' PRACTICE OF CHECKING JOB APPLICANT CREDIT REPORTS COMING UNDER SCRUTINY

I guess this is partially what is wrong with our company. They are run by ignoramuses.
Work isn't "fun" unless you are blessed to have a job you really love. Am I right? And through your work experience, you will work until you find one that pays better, or is better fit for you. At least that's what I thought when I was a working woman. I went from a lowly pool stenographer to the executive assistant to an entertainment powerhouse.
I was always looking for that better fit. That was in the days when you decided to look at the NYT's employment ads. You could pick and choose. There were thousands of jobs there every day and Sunday there were more.
Take the red pen out, circle 5 or 10, make the appointments and you were guaranteed a job and a living wage at the end of the week. Give your two-week notice and that was that.
Now they "check your credit"? What for? Are these morons who get hired in human resources
thinking that under the burden of your bills, you aren't a good risk? You'll be the best!
Are they afraid you'll steal a pencil to sell for a profit?
Idiocy.
I'm glad something is being done about this by at least those four states. Your credit history is none of an employer's business.
