IS THE TIDE TURNING AGAINST KAGAN?

Readers - from time to time I will print an ad for an organization that has pertinent information for you.  I am never going to ask you to donate your hard earned money to anyone, anytime.  This however, is crucial information to send to your elected officials; a tool for you.


Liberty Counsel is joining other pro-family groups in
calling for a FULL INVESTIGATION of events that took place
during Elena Kagan's tenure in the Clinton White House.
Evidence has surfaced indicating that she manipulated expert
testimony in order to overturn laws banning partial-birth
abortion.

We are also calling for a review of discrepancies in her
testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, especially
concerning her notes to President Clinton giving political
advice about abortion cases being considered by the federal
judiciary.

           We believe this investigation needs to be to
           be completed BEFORE the full Senate takes up
           Kagan's nomination.  If the pro-Kagan camp
           doesn't accept this course of action, a
           filibuster should be enacted until the
           investigation is complete and all relevant
           documents receive proper review!

In light of these discoveries and the typical Obama/Reid/Pelosi
pressure to rush to judgment, I am asking every Liberty
Counsel team member to press Senators to examine every
sliver of evidence that may weigh upon Kagan's qualification
for a life-time appointment to the Supreme Court.

           Also, we have included new language in our
           faxes calling for an investigation and review
           of all pertinent documents, including Kagan's
           writings.  The fax barrage will begin when
           the Senate reconvenes on Monday, July 12th.

Together, we must tell the Senators to withhold their votes
until all the evidence on Kagan's character and judicial
philosophy has been considered. We must not allow them to
hurriedly rubber stamp Elena Kagan's confirmation!

++How Kagan rewrote expert testimony to promote abortion.

Elena Kagan's dual role in manipulating findings coupled with
pro-abortion lobbying efforts while working in the Clinton
Administration was exposed in hearings last week.

First, according to Shannen W. Coffin, the deputy assistant
attorney general in charge of the defense of the federal
Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act during the Bush
Administration, in 1997 Kagan essentially re-wrote a
key section of the American College of Obstetricians
and Gynecologists' (ACOG) position on partial-birth
abortion.

It appears that Kagan intentionally and purposefully
manipulated the ACOG finding, inverting the meaning of
the initially released statements to mirror her own
ideology! Kagan's wording was incorporated into the
final document and was later submitted as evidence from
ACOG to the Supreme Court.

           The Supreme Court even cited the ACOG document -
           the same one Kagan manipulated - when striking
           down the Nebraska partial-birth abortion ban.

In another blockbuster development just before the
congressional recess, Americans United for Life (AUL)
released evidence that Kagan may have lobbied the American
Medical Association to change its position on partial-birth
abortion as well!

           These shocking revelations clearly demonstrate
           how Kagan's political activism affects her
           mindset and diminishes her capacity for impartial
           judgment.

++Kagan's radical political activism should disqualify her.

Kagan's activities in the Clinton Administration should not
be characterized as merely the actions of an ambitious young
attorney whose zeal temporarily overrode her better judgment.
Rather, they appear to be calculated attempts to manipulate
testimony by a seasoned lawyer who was at that time serving
as counsel to the President of the United States.

If Kagan purposefully manipulated expert findings, then
that was at least a disrespectful slap at the very Court
upon which she aspires to serve.  Some have said that her
manipulation of expert testimony approaches the crime of
evidence tampering - and good reason to call for Kagan's
removal from consideration.

           The evidence shows more than ever that Elena
           Kagan does NOT have the ability to separate
           her quest to implement a radical personal agenda
           from the sacred duty of impartially judging
           as a Supreme Court Justice.

++Senators are increasingly uneasy about Kagan.

Even during a recess week, many Senators have already
declared their "no" vote on Elena Kagan's nomination. But
the process will have its own inertia.  Within days of
reconvening, the Senate Judiciary Committee is expected
to vote on Kagan's nomination and then send their
recommendation to the full Senate.

           But contrary to the mainstream media "spin,"
           Kagan's confirmation is far from being a
           "done deal."  We can still stop this dangerous
           nominee from being approved!

           Elena Kagan's long history of strategic activism
           for radical causes is showing us that the anti-faith,
           anti-family, anti-freedom Left has a well defined
           agenda, is deeply committed to that agenda, and
           will stop at nothing to impose their agenda on
           the rest of us!

And consider this: If Elena Kagan is seated, she would be
in position to review the lawsuits against ObamaCare when
they make their way to the High Court!

BARRY, the latest revelation regarding the
manipulation of a scientific finding for political effect -
to promote the hideous partial-birth abortion procedure,
no less - may be the evidence that exposes the true Elena Kagan.

           As we have maintained all along, Elena Kagan
           is a political operative who would use a seat
           on the Supreme Court to advance a radical agenda.

Please, increase your personal impact on this vital issue by
