Helen Thomas on Jews: Ship Them Back To Germany

As first reported by Jeff Dunetz at Big Journalism and Yid With Lid, Helen Thomas doesn’t have much nice to say about Jews:
Rabbi Nessenoff: Any comments on Israel? We’re asking everbybody today, any comments on Israel?
Helen Thomas: Tell em to get the hell out of Palestine.
Nessenoff: Oh. Any better comments on Israel?
Thomas: Remember, these people are occupied, and it’s their land. It’s not German, and it’s not Poland.
Nessenoff: So where should they go and what should they do?
Thomas: They should go home!
Nessenoff: Where’s their home?
Thomas: Poland. Germany.
Nessenoff: So you’re saying the Jews should go back to Poland and Germany?
Thomas: And America and everywhere else.
Send the Jews back to Germany. Classy.
Dunetz also reminds us of Helen Thomas’ questioning of Gibbs over Israel’s response to the flotilla incident (not to mention Gibbs’ mealy-mouthed reply):
Beginning to sense a pattern? She calls Israel’s response an “international crime” and a “massacre”. It’s funny, though. She has a bit more trouble with condemnation when the people killing people are less, well, Jewish:

When I first posted that video, I chalked it up to moral equivalence. But it isn’t, really, is it? It’s decidedly non-equivalent. Islamists attacking U.S. troops are freedom fighters, Jews defending their nation are terrorists.
It’s amazing that someone who will so casually call America and Israel terrorist-states has such a prominent place at the head of the White House press corps. Right?

Helen likes to ask Robert Gibbs pointed questions. Wonder if she’ll have the stones to ask him if he agrees with her prescription for Israel? And I do so wonder how Gibbs would respond. Don’t you?
