Florida Highway Patrol troopers will be stopping drivers between sunrise and sunset this month to inspect vehicles and licenses. There will be more than 60 checkpoints in Bay County, according to an FHP news release.
Troopers will concentrate their efforts on cars with bad brakes, worn tires and defective lights. They also will be looking for drivers who are violating state driver’s license laws, the release said.
