Deferring to Muslims, Metropolitan Museum of Art censors its own collection

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/01/new-yorks-metropolitan-museum-of-art-censors-its-own-collection-lest-displaying-images-of-muhammad-o.html

Deplorable.

Just the thought of a museum changing its display to satisfy a religion, is abhorrent to me.
Art is for everyone - the sum product of creativity and talent through the ages. If it offends one sector of the population, that sector doesn't have to view it.

If there is fear of retaliation, of destruction, or physical harm, then there are some who are not to be allowed in the museum at all, or at least, not where this art is displayed.

The surrender to a small part of a population is shameful.

Obama gives $50 Million to National Endowment of the Arts

OK - I'm an artist of sorts. I write, I photograph.

And I really wish I could get a break.

BUT, in view of recent news on breast cancer, let's say - and the age for mammograms being pushed to 50 when you should be getting them in your thirties - you gain a different perspective.

Make no mistake - putting mammograms off will kill women.

So how many mammograms would $50 million get American women (and not illegal aliens)?
