OK, SO IF THE DEVILS IN DC DECIDE TO CUT OFF FOOD DELIVERY, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS?

Start with chickens and guinea fowl if you live in the suburbs or out in your counties...let them breed and free range.  Convince your neighbors to do the same.  It's all about survival in times of crisis.  Same with quiet little rabbits and release them in your yards - they'll find their way out and find a way to breed.

The chickens will eat insects and seeds, the wonderful guineas will roost in trees at night and make a lot of screechy noise if there are predators or unwanted visitors in the dark.  Guaranteed to wake you up.  They also keep snakes and insects away, eat seeds and forage.  They're pretty much wild.

If you live near water, ducks and geese.  The big snapping turtles, bass or muskies will take some of them, and so will alligators.  That's to be expected.

If you're hungry, they could save your life.  If you have urban/suburban/neighborhood laws that prevent you from keeping a coop of chickens, get the laws and policies changed.  That may take a little work on your part.  There should be NO "law" that prevents you from having a garden in a subdivision or keeping domestic poultry or fowl or food.

Same goes for small livestock like goats.

Just a thought on a rainy day.  Something big and bad is afoot. The government will control you, not save you.

FREAK OUT ON THIS ONE: CHICKEN AND RICE AND ARSENIC...

http://www.care2.com/greenliving/friday-freak-out-chicken-and-rice-and-arsenic.html

FACTORY RAISED CHICKEN

RICE

LOADED WITH ARSENIC!

DANGEROUS!

TOXIC!

If you read the post below, then you'll understand...if the USDA can't kill us off with arsenic-loaded food, then they have 300,000 bullets to use...what's going on?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BLIND, FOOTLESS CHICKEN FOR DINNER? I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO CALL THIS! AT THE MOMENT, I'M SPEECHLESS

http://farmwars.info/?p=7897&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+FarmWars+%28Farm+Wars%29

Removing the cerebral cortex from chickens, making them blind and footless so they can be produced without pain and oblivious of crowding? What's worse than bizarre?

I need to leave the computer for a while.

Too much for me to comprehend.

USDA BREAKS RULES TO IMPORT POTENTIALLY UNSAFE POULTRY FROM CHINA!

http://news.change.org/stories/usda-breaks-rules-to-import-potentially-unsafe-poultry-from-china

How interesting that uber-liberal Change.org is so full of outrage! I find it odd. And I also find it odd that empress michele isn't "crowing" about this.

This is very dangerous. Read this carefully and understand the implications of this.

Fried Chicken! I love it. But I never could make it.

So when this came in on Paula's newsletter, I thought maybe someone else has a problem cooking it, too. I guess I'm still a Yankee! Some things really are genetic.

This is the ultimate Southern entree. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Paula Deen House Seasoning
2 1/2 lb chicken, cut into pieces
2 cup self-rising flour
1 cup hot red pepper sauce
3 eggs

Directions

Heat the oil to 350 degrees F in a deep pot. Do not fill the pot more than 1/2 full with oil.

In a medium size bowl, beat the eggs. Add enough hot sauce so the egg mixture is bright orange (about 1 cup). Season the chicken with the House Seasoning. Dip the seasoned chicken in the egg, and then coat well in the flour. Place the chicken in the preheated oil and fry the chicken in the oil until brown and crisp. Dark meat takes longer than white meat. Approximate cooking time is 13 to 14 minutes for dark meat and 8 to 10 minutes for white meat.

Recipe courtesy Paula Deen

Servings: 6-8 servings
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 14 min
Difficulty: Easy

Live in the City? Want CHICKENS?

Here's how you do it - and like the article says, do your statute/code research first.
