By doing this, he is endorsing Islam and the 72 virgins; encouraging mothers to teach their children to strap on bombs and go to Allah by being terrorist, Jihadist bombers.  Girls and boys.  Doesn't matter.

"They blow up so soon", one proud but grieving mother reminisces with her friends as they sit around having tea.  All of the children were bombers...it's a bad joke.  That was the punch line.

There is a ceasefire in Gaza now but the BBC has obtained evidence of how militant groups are preparing for a possible renewal of violence.

Umm Anas was at the centre of a highly-staged event

One group, Islamic Jihad, has been running a special programme to prepare cadres of female suicide bombers.

Our Middle East correspondent, Paul Wood, spoke to one of them. She's 18 and goes by the name of Umm Anass - Mother of the People.

Her ambition to blow herself up is a decision that many will find incomprehensible and her views are disturbing.

Paul Wood asked her first to describe the moment when she first knew she wanted to be what the Palestinians call a martyr:
