For far beyond 20 years ago, I made up my mind that if I couldn't find something new made in America, I'd find it or something similar at a thrift shop, yard sale, flea market, junk shop, pawn shop. I've done all right over the years. Nothing wrong in being thrifty or patriotic. Every time I visit my favorite consignment stores, or even eBay, I pat myself on the back for not bowing to China.
And that makes this old gal very, very satisfied.
