You know how I feel about this one. They may go out because of an attack, but if I were in New York, I don't want them taking this freedom from me. That's what cell phones are for - to contact people in emergencies.
The Brits were desperate for weapons during WWII. Why on earth did they allow the government/police to confiscate them. You cannot fight tyranny or a dictator without weapons.
You can beat your pots and pans at midnight, like they do in Cuba, but that's not going to work, is it?
