Did you catch Sarah Palin and William Shatner on Conan O'brien's show?

I love the expression on Shatner's face - he's either a consummate actor or he was really surprised.

Gee - I wish either one would read some of my writing to music.

By the way - I am happy to remember the days when the beatniks appeared in Greenwich Village coffee houses - everyone wore black. And the bass and the bongos in the background were indispensable.

Tell you what - I have lived in interesting times.
