Africanized bees attack horse in Arizona

This came from Steve Grenard's Venomlist. It is an international list for scientists and layfolk interested in venoms - snakes, bees, spiders - all venoms. It is extremely interesting and
a great resource. I've learned a lot from this list - but I didn't know until I read the above articles that all bees in Arizona are Africanized (or killer bee hybrids).

My friend, Alyssa, lives in Douglas and has 18 acres of scrub desert on which she keeps Welsh ponies and a couple of quarter horses. I have to tell her about this.
