Buy rabbits, chickens, guinea fowl and either keep them or let them go wild. Guineas are good for that, and are very tasty, they say. I've tried to keep them and they are very wild, roost in the trees, battle snakes and insects and I'm sure you can devise a way of harvesting them if need be.
Tell your zoning department to go to hell.
Learn about goats. They are the gift to the world and are easy to keep. The does are virtually odorless and so are their droppings. Makes good fertilizer and so does rabbit manure. They are also quiet, providing butter, milk and meat.
Looks like we're going third world, not high tech.
Better learn to keep donkeys, too. They will care for your goats, be a security system, and
should you need transportation, be broken to harness.
Resist being government slaves.
