LOUISIANA FISHERIES IN DANGER OF BEING LOST

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=arVrjo0djH.Y

In a state crippled from Katrina, now this, I hope that Bobby Jindal will push for the Bakken oil reserves to be opened so his people can be employed.

When the devastation to the fisheries, which includes oysters, crabs, crawfish, fish, mussels, marine mammals and the toll on wildlife in the estuaries, that will end not only the fishing, but the tourism as well.

Be forewarned - we will be eating seafood from China which may be unsafe, treated with toxins and bought by a clamoring US public.

We can't allow that.

Surely there is technology that will hasten the cleanup and cap those wells.

I hope that if you have the time, space and dedication, you will volunteer for the cleanup effort onshore and those of you who can, volunteer to clean birds and mammals and help them recover.
