FROM NCPA - MORE ON OIL, OFFSHORE RESERVES

http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=19290&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=DPD

AND TO THIS I ASK:

Where is our offshore oil going? Does it remain here in the US or is it being shipped to foreign countries. If so, why?

I have heard the number 3,000 oil platforms with active wells, some as far as 600 miles offshore (key word is "HEARD" here). Who is drilling? Where does that oil go, and what is the record for
spills, tipping, explosions?

We know that China and Russia are just off Cuba, drilling merrily away. Because Cuba is less than 100 miles away from the tip of the Florida Keys and our precious coral reefs, wouldn't it make sense to hault this? Do you think they would share our alarm over spills?
