Obama, Frank Marshall Davis and the FBI

This is from Cliff Kincaid's newsletter I just received. I couldn't get a link, but it is from American Survival, and you need to read and digest this. I think it's very important information.

Dear Friend of America’s Survival, Inc.:

On his Fox News program on April 6, Glenn Beck brought up the subject of Obama’s Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis.

Here’s what he said: “Obama’s grandfather recognized that Barack had been abandoned by his mom and dad and Barack, according to his own book, was struggling with his racial identity. So, grandpa happened to know a poet living in Hawaii, who was a strong black male influence, who could mentor his grandson. And what happened? Who was this strong figure — this mentor — during his impressionable teen years? Obama only identified him as ‘Frank’ in his memoir. It took some time, but a New Zealand researcher/blogger finally did uncover and publish that his ‘mentor’ was indeed: Frank Marshall Davis, black poet and communist with an FBI file.”

This “New Zealand researcher/blogger” is, of course, well know to supporters of America’s Survival, Inc. His name is Trevor Loudon. Beck should have credited Trevor by name. Trevor did indeed break the story of Frank Marshall Davis and we gave him credit in our article, “Obama’s Communist Mentor,” which continues to get thousands of on-line hits every month. Trevor, however, didn’t obtain the Davis FBI file. I got that 600-page file through a Freedom of Information Act request to the FBI. You can find it here.

I have just received word from the FBI that they have destroyed the file on Obama’s grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham, who picked Davis as a young Obama’s mentor. I am posting that letter from the FBI. Needless to say, it is strange that the file was destroyed. At least we have the 600-page FBI file on Davis.
