Time to through the bums out of there, too, and develop middle American resources like the ocean of oil we have, natural gas which is being burned off, oil shale and sand, coal. We have this.
With deforestation we will be picking at our yards (if we're allowed to) with sticks trying to plant something that won't grow from harvested seed, because of hybridization. They don't reproduce.
