This is illegal and unconstitutional. We cannot trust our chief law enforcement officers to back us up in an instance like this. So you need to ask your chief law enforcement officer in your county HOW he or she feels about this and get it in writing, publishable in print.
If someone wants to step between your Second Amendment rights, even if they are wearing a badge, we need to use citizen arrest to force the issue.
