So we have to sit like kindergarteners waiting for the bell to ring with our hands in our laps for an hour.
But what about the terrorist who gets on the plane undiscovered - y'know - it DOES happen -
and the hours between embarking and that last hour?
He (or she) can light up anytime. Does it really matter? The end result is the same.
I think we should quit flying for a while.
Maybe for six months or a year.
For pleasure.
Stay home - spend your tourist dollars in your backyard somewhere. Let's see what the airlines and the TSA and HSA do with that. Maybe if we boycott any airport with these full body scanners that would make an impact, too.
Maybe it's time to adopt the Israeli way of screening. Wouldn't hurt.
Forty years without an incident. No one can refute that.
Or maybe we should all just fly naked.
Put a blacklight and a towel in your carry on. For sanitation purposes.
