Not too long ago the assassination of American citizens anywhere in the world was approved by the federal government - or maybe just Obama. The details on this are buried here on this blog. If you do a Google search, you can find enough reference to it to satisfy you.
The notion - the very "idea", that a president can assassinate without bringing a suspect (because we still are innocent until we are proven guilty) to trial, is repugnant to our way of justice, the rule of law.
Until this regime which is installed in our White House, we did not sanction assassinations - well, maybe Dubya did and he wasn't much better than Obama.
I agree with Rep. Paul on this, and if you think about it clearly and deeply, what he says makes great sense. We cannot allow assassinations. It is morally and ethically wrong. We bring offenders to trial when they admit freely that they perpetrated a heinous crime. And then they are sentenced. We have the option of a death sentence. But to give the right to assassinate anyone to one person, the president, is a very grave mistake.
I think Ron Paul is 100 per cent right on this.

SUSPEND ELECTIONS? DEMOCRATS PUT FACISM ON THE TABLE

Suspend Elections? Democrats Put Fascism on the Table
North Carolina’s Democratic Governor, Beverly Perdue, has a keen idea to help Congress focus on the economy: just cancel Congressional elections in 2012. At a rotary speech in Cary, NC, the governor stated:
I don’t know if the president or any of the candidates for president, quite frankly, of either party, have a solid tool set to help us out…We all want to be number one. I want North Carolina to be number one. You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixin’ things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. The one good thing about Raleigh is that for so many years we’ve worked across party lines, so we’ll It’s not impossible to try to do what is right for the state. You want people who don’t worry about the next election.
Perdue’s camp immediately went into spin mode, claiming the governor was only joking. Her spokesman, Chris Mackey, said, “Gov. Perdue was obviously using hyperbole to highlight what we can all agree is a serious problem: Washington politicians who focus on their own election instead of what’s best for the people they serve.” Although an audio recording proves otherwise, Mackey is sticking to his story.
Indeed, the full context shows her remarks, although targeting Congressional elections, would be applicable to the presidential election, as well.
Gov. Perdue’s remarks are part of an increasingly open strategy to impose the president’s agenda through administrative channels — something bordering on dictatorial powers or open fascism. This author was the first conservative journalist to expose Obama’s plan to rule through executive powers in 2011. Although Soros-funded think tanks drew up his agenda and inside-the-Beltway journalists cheered him on, establishment conservatives have been late to acknowledge his actions or respond to them.
The president’s favored constituencies have pressured him to suspend the deportation of illegal immigrants, a wish he has partially fulfilled. Democratic Congressmen have suggested he unilaterally raise the debt ceiling. The president signed an agreement establishing a Super Congress, with the intention of preempting as many of the nation’s substantive decisions away from the new Tea Party freshmen — and the majority of voters who elected them — as possible.
With their successes, left-wingers have become increasingly open about their means and intentions.
On September 14, Obama’s recent budget director Peter Orszag wrote an article for The New Republic entitled, “Too Much of a Good Thing,” in which he argued the nation could avoid “gridlock” by ignoring Congress:
To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automatic policies and depoliticized commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic.
If the Obama administration wishes to make the nation less democratic, it could begin by disenfranchising the illegal immigrants and unregistered or otherwise ineligible voters who are furtively casting ballots and illegitimately participating in our elective process. Not only have the administration’s election officials expressed their hostility to doing so, they dispatched lawyers to pivotal states during the 2010 election to harass state or local elections officials attempting to follow the law.
Contrary to Perdue, Orszag, et. al, politicians behave best only when petrified about the next election, sweating out their prospects for continued public fleecing service in the sure and certain knowledge that the voters will hold them accountable for their every action.
Perdue’s remark was no joke. It was a trial balloon to push political discourse to the Left and redefine Obama into the political center. The president can then unleash a gradual program that transforms America by fits and starts, having concluded that eroding the Constitution “piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.”

LAST NIGHT AFTER READING THE LINK BELOW, AFTER SOME THOUGHT, I WROTE THE FOLLOWING EMAIL TO MY REPRESENTATIVE'S OFFICE IN WASHINGTON.
If I hadn't, I wouldn't have had as much sleep as I got. I remember looking at the clock; the dogs were stirring, it was 3:45. I took some of them out. I had not closed my eyes at all. I kept thinking of the barrage of blows our constitutional rights are taking every day. This was my last straw of last night. The notion that we are to spy on each other, and be scrutinized for buying wooden matches and MREs? Obama and his handmaiden, Big Sis are pretty much responsible, and anyone with a uniform is going to join the chorus line.
Perhaps it will inspire you, too. Apparently our boys and girls in Congress do not believe us. They need to believe us. They need us to take them down a peg or two.
So call or write them a letter. Call all of their offices, read this, tweak it and make it your own. Or send it on or read it and say you agree. Ron Paul believes we are close to a revolution. The revolution will not come if Obama is impeached. But Obama will manufacture an incident or he will put his big foot on our necks and cause such terror and chaos in this peaceful country of ours, that we will not know what happened.

I would like an explanation of why this is happening, and why my representatives - in all states - are allowing this garbage.
That usurper to the office of president is indeed, impeachable. Ask us. Have Steve ask us when he has his next town hall meetings. That one question.
There is support. Problem is, we send our best hope to Washington to represent us and they turn it around a day later and they think they're wagging the dog.
I am extremely displeased with the way our Republicans are allowing our country to slip into totalitarianism. That's impeachable. And I am asking that Steve bring this up on the House floor - the matter of impeachment. I want him to DARE SAY THE WORDS, "IT'S TIME TO IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA".
If Steve cannot, then I would like to do it as a citizen of the United States, as his guest, in Washington, to the House of Representatives. I will bring the laundry list of offenses against these United States if he doesn't have one. And I mean that sincerely.
And then I signed it.
Today I sent it to Sen. Marco Rubio and to Rep. Allen West.
I mean this; that I will go with my arm wrapped around a 10 pound scroll of Obama's offenses against the state with the intent to convince our do-nothing Congress to impeach this fraud.
I would welcome your comments and your simple one line items for this list.
Of course, I will not be invited; that's just a pipe
dream. But if no one of these lily-livered, cowardly Congressmen won't do it, an old bag like me has to. It is my duty as a citizen of this country.

The Great Plains corridor consists of three segments, (Theodore Roosevelt expressway, Heartland expressway, and the Ports to Plains trade corridor) which extend from Laredo, Texas at the Mexican Border to the Port of Raymond, Montana at the Canadian border, a distance of 2,236 miles.
It's being built as I write this through Douglas, AZ. It passes my friend's ranch.

DROWNING ALMOST NEVER LOOKS LIKE DROWNING - A WATER SAFETY TIP YOU PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF

The "other" grandma in the family and I took the kids to a Saturday marketplace last week. It's held at a marina. I brought the bread to feed seagulls (turned out the fish liked it better), and as our grandson hung over the railing, she had her hand white-knuckled around a big piece of his shirt.
Linda doesn't swim. She's afraid of the water.
I told her I would hold on to him and go in with him if he fell. He's watersafe enough to bob up to the surface. There were plenty of people there, lots of boats and the pilings had cables around them he could climb on.
I really don't think that was much comfort. I know she liked it and you will, too.
This is an excellent article. I watched my son take his PADI rescue diver's course and get certificated. But I don't remember being told this.

If you look into the process beyond the soothing words offered by the funeral director and the manufacturer of the equipment, the process of making of the potassium hydroxide (basically, lye) is costly, and elemental potassium comes from the mining of phosphate (a polluter of water), the extra pulverizing of the bones, the heating of the water for that volume, you come out with a lot more expense than cremation. And then, if you want the ashes, additional heat and grinding has to be used. And the cremains you get at cremation are the same you will get after your loved ones flesh is eaten off the bones by acid. I think this method would be deplorable to a grieving family. I think this is disgusting, emotionally cruel, inhumane in many ways, unethical, immoral and possibly dangerous. This is what horror movies are made of. Why not just fill in the spent Florida sand pits with dead bodies for mass graves. At least you know where you go. Think Auschwitz. Bergen-Belsen. Those were the products of twisted minds, too. | |

If I understand this, Big Pharma is going to stop making unprofitable drugs and will produce only those drugs that are profitable. They and the FDA will eventually stop generics from being produced for sale here and prevent offshore producers of generics to market their drugs here.
That means that if you are ill - say, chronically ill, you will have only one choice - the brand name produced by the members of Big Pharma. If you cannot afford them, you will die.
It's as simple as that.
We have to turn our government upside down and shake every agency out and fire everyone and start over.
Romney loves big Pharma; Perry wants you to have Gardasil.

I suggest that all school personnel everywhere in the USA be armed and if they choose to do so, carry openly. They should also receive training in firearms safety and accuracy. That would put a chill on someone with mayhem and murder on their minds, wouldn't it.
On the sidebar to this video are lots more of these training drills for malls, etc. I think they condition people to live in fear, to expect to be taken care of and rescued. Reality is gone.
Go for the Glock concealed in your waistband; in your purse.
I'd love to hear something from you on this.

Because I love Montana, I thought I'd share this with you.
The tree in the picture is where a big bear barked it. It was higher than I am tall. They scrape the bark for insects and to hone their nails. I guess if the sap ran sweet, they'd lick that up, too.
Be careful in bear country; talk, sing, make noise. Stay on the trails and if you can't see over the berry bushes, beware. And if you're hiking, don't take sardine sandwiches with you. Nothing "smelly". And never, ever be off your guard. Count on the unpredictability of this animals.
There are volumes written about being safe in bear country.
